Mauled hand painted the large Cobb Morley one, and also some of the smaller large ones (if that makes sense). He created and drew the design for the Bruce one, which Barmy Flags in Oldham then copied onto the banner. I'm aware others have used Barmy Flags since, and have had equally good quality service.
If people are seriously up for sorting this I've got someone local who thinks he can do it in time. He's got stock of a polyester flag material, so can do it quickly, though it's the lightweight stuff (so it will look good from the front, but it won't be double sided). He just need a size, artwork and whether it needs eyelets.
He needs to know the details before he knows what it will cost, presumably it will have to be less than 250cm wide to meet ground regs.
I'm getting a price and he can sort the artwork himself, but I'm not interested in getting involved, so someone else will have to run with this if people want it?
Later in the rules it says "- Permission must be sought in advance from the stadium and event owner to arrange use of the very large supporter flags that are designed to be passed over people's heads. In such cases the flag must be flame ******ant and the organiser bringing the flag into the stadium will need to provide the appropriate H&S certification." So a really big one isn't a problem as long as it has that certification.
Anyone can get any size they want and sort whatever certificates they like, all I need is to know is that someone wants to take it on so I can pass them the contact details. The game's only a couple of days away, if any flag is being done, it needs to be done now.
This is a great idea. It needs the triangle though. Edit- the pattie should go where the triangle arrow head is, above the EA in DEAD and below the bird.
