**** me! A documentary about everything we've been seeing, hearing and more importantly, reading between the lines about for the past four years... there's a trailer on here that, like Clive Whittingham, I've just stopped and started, hanging on to every word numerous times over and over again. It stars Briatore, Paladini, Bhatia, Saksena and others playing out scenes that must have been rolling around every Rangers fan's imagination throughout the entire melodrama. And although I doubt it's contents will surprise many of us diehards, to see it played out in living sound and colour by the people actually involved is as compelling for an R as a few drams of your favoured poison (or rather that's how I'm feeling having watched the shorts!). The real reality check for me was how much energy and base expectation Briatore and Paladini put into goofing things up. You see Paladini kicking a wall in frustration and how quickly Briatore decides a 'coach' is likely to be sacked. You hear Bhatia advising against screaming at the players and Briatore reacting to a fans protest by threatening to sell up! A trailer maybe - but already the crass, vulgar and reactionary incompetence oozes like pus from a nasty boil... As Clive says, it's strange they'd allow themselves to be seen in this 'light' but then again, the flip side of ego often equates to no sense no feelings... We don't know when or where this film's going to be made available atm. Was this the Dispatches thing Northolt was talking about a few days ago? Anyhow - can't wait!
