Judging by the **** I read online, papers etc it does seem a little more likely that he is stopping rather than making a run for it. However reading your crack it seems that he is definitely taking yous on. A large section of your support seems to be uttering the same. Yous seem convinced? Do yous know something that we don't know. Cos if I was a town supporter I certainly wouldn't be counting my chickens. I would be still in fear of Kinnear making a comeback.
That front 2 is ideal, Lascelles looks good and knows the league, Mbemba will be a better defender for a year out of the league. Shelvey attitude permitting can boss that league, Townsend should sign for us, Perez wide left of a front 3 could terrorise the league. You need a Barton in there, a ****ing terrier who takes it by the balls. There's a base that can play Champ then step up for sure, but there's glaring gaps also. Be interesting to watch it come together, if it does
**** off man, a league cup and some tinpot European league title isn't comparable to 2 La Liga's, 2 UEFA Cup's, an English FA Cup, an Italian FA Cup, a Champions League, a UEFA Super Cup and a Club World Championship. For a team with no trophy in 60 years to bring in someone of that pedigree is massive, regardless of who our previous managers have been.
Fair enough yeah, everything I'm saying is based on him actually staying and not jumping ship if someone else comes in for him. Re-appointing Kinnear is not something I would put past Ashley, in all seriousness. I wouldn't mind us going for Pearson IF Rafa leaves, but in all honesty he's the only thing keeping me excited in Newcastle at the moment, I'll be devastated if he leaves.
We're fairly well set, even Colback should be the perfect type of player for that league. Shelvey bother me, if you can't get up for the fight in the premier league then I think he'll struggle in the Championship. I'll be amazed if Townsend stays but I'll be livid if he joins you lot Quality player. I'd be buying a couple of fulbacks, a centre mid to play with Colback and a couple of wingers who can jut get the ball out of their feet and whip it in. Get shot of Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Janmaat and the rest who think they're too good for us. Incidentally, did you hear Barton on talksport claiming that McClaren tried to sign him last summer and Charnley told him to **** off? Interesting that.
Have you gone slow in the head? I said you like Rafa so much because he's got more major honours than your last 10 years of managers combined. You said it's not because of your previous managers, it's because he's better than half the managers in the league by comparison (honours). I threw that logic back at you by saying Steve McClaren has won more major honours than half the managers in the league. The fact is, your fan base love Rafa so much because you're used to being served **** and finally you have somebody with a reputation. It's NOTHING to do with how he compares to other managers in the league you used to be in.
I didn't, but that is interesting. Colback is a decent left back by the way, and he's utterly ineffective CM. There's a solution. Is Haidara nearly well? He's half decent with the ball. Might be one that grows from a year in a lower league, like Colo did last time.
I never even said that though Tel, you're talking ****e. YOU said that the reason we are happy with Rafa is that he has more major honours than our previous managers. I said that I didn't agree and that Rafa has more major honours than half of the league put together, thus making your point about major honours irrelevant. It has nothing to do with our previous managers as you so falsely suggest. We are happy with Rafa because he's a champions league manager joining a club that was fighting relegation and is now a championship club. If QPR appoint Alex Ferguson tomorrow and their fans are happy about it, will it be because he's a manager out of their league or because their last few managers have been Redknapp, Ramsey, Warnock and Hasselbaink???
I don't think he's due to be back till August so I doubt he'll be getting regular games until well into the season. We can't be relying on players that have had more games on the physio's bench than on the pitch. Colback does pretty much **** all except run around a lot but there's a place for that in any team. Just ask Shini Okazaki
Actually I said: The reason he's considered above their station and why they're so elated with his appointment is because their manager list for the last 10 years looks like an abomination of awful ****ty losers. Then you said: Not sure it has ANYTHING to do with our previous appointments, Rafa has more major honours to his name that about 14 of the Premier League managers combined. So then I said: If you'd had Fergie, Jose, Pep, Wenger etc you'd be less bothered about goatee boy. Nothing at all to do with what other clubs/manager have won. To which you replied: But to say we are pleased with Rafa because he's better than what we've had is wrong IMO. And that's basically where you started to look like a complete idiot, yet you say I'm talking ****. You'd never be happy with Rafa if he wasn't better than what you'd previously had. You don't talk for all Newcastle fans either, you talk for yourself. The reason I'm happy with Jose Mourinho coming in is because he's better than Van Gaal and Moyes, hands down, he's a ****ing winner with a ton of silverware to his name but would I ever have wanted him to replace Fergie? Would I ****.
Moving on from the fat waiter... David Moyes... good enough for another crack at the PL or should he have taken the Villa job?
Don't avoid the question then. Do you believe that if QPR appoint SIr Alex Ferguson tomorrow, the reason they will be happy with the appointment is because their last few managers have been **** like Redknapp, Ramsey, Warnock and Hasselbaink?
I don't know what to make of that, aren't Everton supposedly going to spend big, I wouldn't trust Moyes with a bag of 2p's in Selfridges mate, never mind giving him a war chest.
Sorry, I never answered your question O'scented One. Yeah, they'd be ****ing elated. They'd think "Fergie, ****ing hell, he's way better than the crock of **** we've had to put up with".
His failing at Sociedad for me was far worse than United, man after Fergie was doomed. Sociedad had an exciting side, quality holding players, 3 of a quality back 4 and a smashing keeper. He made them look like dog **** soup.
