Snodgrass and Davies doing the presser with Brucey today. Steve Bruce says it's unlikely Allan McGregor will play in the Championship play-off final. please log in to view this image "Forestieri he's the dangerman. "Hooper has done extremely well since arriving from Norwich. "But we've got good players too so it has all the makings for a great game." "He's got big ability - their marquee signing last summer. I was surpsied Watford sold him. They made him available, but he's the talisman for Wednesday. He's given a free role and he's a good player." "These games don't come around very often. These are the occasions you look back on." Is there a football match on? I thought the Barcelona of South Yorkshire had already won it based on fans alone.
On McGregor... "He's the only doubt. Outfield players are all ok "If he doesn't train Thursday... well, today he was nowhere near, it looks as if Allan will not make it. "He'd be a big loss because he's an extremely good goalkeeper. "I've got no qualms of playing Eldin Jakupovic. He's an experienced keeper who's kept himself in good nick. "In him and Dusan Kuciak we've got able replacements."

"It’s different for the club, it’s going to get increases of revenues, but for us players, it’s all about getting back to the Premier League." Snodgrass... "We missed the first automatic opportunity and we can't let the second chance pass us by." "When you miss the first half of the season...these guys (players) were brilliant at helping me and the coaching staff gave me confidence. I'm going to Wembley and I'm very grateful."
Disappointing AM looks like missing out lets hope Jak has a decent game because when crosses go in on our goal I'm not convinced, Anyway if that's the case lets get behind Jak and the rest of the team and hope were celebrating at the end of the game.
Hooper never has a hair out place so he won't be interested up top. Floristieri is too busy diving and Barry the dwarf Banham needs step ladders.
Rumour has it to accommodate more Wednesday fans, the second half will now be played at Hullsborough.
Don't underestimate the threat of Foristieri (in particular) and Hooper - yes they both dive, but both are clever players and could cause us problems. The outcome of Saturday depends on which Hull City turns up
exactly, which City will turn up. The City that beat Derby, Burnley & Midds 3-0 & Charlton 6-0 or The City that lost to Leeds, Bolton, Birmingham & Derby ? Its a 90 mins winner takes all game & its whoever turns up on the day & performs for 90 mins gets promotion Midfield is the key area, we can't let Weds overrun us. For me Meyler has to partner Livermore. Huddlestone is too slow We have to have Meyler in there getting stuck in & breaking up play
For me Wallace is their danger man as much as Forestieri, he shoots very well from distance and we have too many players like Dawson prone to backing off. That said I don't know if he is injured or any of their team news.
was thinking about the team for Saturday, while the large pitch would suit Huddlestone`s passing ability, the downside is there will be more space for him to cover and we know he aint the most mobile or swiftest, having said that I think I`d rather see him in the team in a more advanced role with Meyler and Livermore doing the donkey work in front of the back four. Diame for me would be the one to bench, although I suspect both will play given Brucie`s previous selections, which for me will allow their midfield to dominate through shear mobility. Pity about Big Mac, ideal world he would have played, and I too have concerns over Jak, in particular from balls into the box, he just doesn`t inspire confidence and flaps around like a fish out of water. But lets hope we can cut the majority out at source.
I'd say Meyler is a must for Saturday. We simply cannot lose the midfield battle like we did in the home leg against Derby.
I found the comment about 60 managers interesting. He said if we lose ''it might be 61 - I hope not''. I know one has to be a bit careful to read too much into press conference puffery, but it didn't sound to me as if he plans to go regardless of the result.
