Did I just see Sevilla receive a plate to commemorate runners up? if so it's a nice touch. I have never seen a team receive anything for the team as runners up before.

I thought they gave a very good account of themselves but, after 63 games the extra time just killed them.

So to summarise your summary, LFC during the decade has had the ambition and financial clout(even through the aftermath of the H&G debacle)to back their (4) previous managers during that time and not forgetting the committee of course.
Speculate to accumulate seems to have worked nicely for the owners and clubs bank balances as our rise up the financial league table shows, but winning jack ****(apart from the league cup)for the vast amount of money outlaid shows the clubs choice of manager in the last 10 years leaves a lot(£600m)to be desired.

 

Unlike everton who have spent **** loads and won **** all

Why put a time frame of a decade? What about the last 2 decades? Or since you last won something? Can compare costs and trophies won for that time period.

 

I suppose Wigan, Pompey, Leicester all spent 400m more than you to win their respective trophies since you last did as well no?

Btw, Leicester and Blackburn won the league not cup, but Blackburn was over your 10 year time frame so I excluded them.

If you ask any of their fans I bet none of them would swap their last 20 years with yours. They probably had more enjoyment on that one final winning the cup (or this year winning the league for Leicester) than just surviving in the prem which is what you've done.

Your like a lesser Arsenal, just happy to compete in the prem without actually winning anything
