You do realise that you haven't won the league since we did... And bar the league, we've won every other trophy possible since then.... Unlike you guys?

Whats your excuse for lack of trophies?

 

Actually I more annoyed West Ham have got EL, as if scrounging off the tax payers wasn't enough with their Tory mates.

FA cup is a nice shiny trophy and its nice to win it but ultimately thats about it. Arsenal have shown winning it changes very little for the club.

TBH it's difficult enough predicting what's going to happen over the next 2 or 3 years, never mind the next 10 or 20.

Certainly rather be in Spurs position at the mo, promising young squad with a good manager with years ahead of him. Champions League next
season etc.

But things can change quickly in football and both Man U and Liverpool could be back in the mix next season in the league

Agree about West Ham. Scummy classless owners who were the thugs of the 80's.

I think there's a massive boost within the club and fans from winning it. Will it be the catalyst for some of our youngsters and experienced players to go on to build sonething better? Don't know, that depends on the next manager, BUT it was really important to win a major trophy post-Fergie. The longer we didnt the more questions could've been asked. That's a big monkey off our back. Psychologically as well.

So Man Utd won FA Cup yesterday, do you think this means they had a better season than Liverpool? Obviously Liverpool made 2 cup finals, but didn't win them, and they finished lower in the league. But they showed they could be in the mix next season.
