Never met you mate but you crossed my mind 3 times today during that final, when they scored, when we went down to 10 men and when we got the second.
Never had another thought of you after the final whistle <laugh>
Hope you and, more importantly, little Stan had a great day <ok>

If you're looking short term then yes. However, Man Utd is one of the top teams in world football and would offer the chance of domination, not just a bit cups here and there.

No chance, a manager goes to Spurs and does well he has done well, if he fails he moves on.
When a manger goes to United and bombs then it's all "he spent so much, he had these players" and all of a sudden he is ****. Not right but the way it is in real life <ok>

So you think he's bottling the big job then?

For the record, my original point was about who Man Utd should be going for. Not about whether or not Poch would take it.

    Not bottling, just being sensible.
I know what your original point was, the thing is we cant be sure they never went for him and he politely declined at this point.

Thanks pal. It was a great day as well as a very stressful one! Went to bed last night with 2 tickets sorted for me and Stan Jnr, woke up to a text saying did I want two more! At Stan Jnr's football training last night one of the boys was gutted as his brother was going with a mate and he didn't have a ticket so that was an easy one to allocate. Then it was up to my brothers to decide who got to go with the other ticket. Got chatting to a Palace fan outside the ground, a dad who was there with his grown up kids, and he said to my boy and his mate, "I hope you appreciate how lucky you are to be here with your dad." I wanted to give the guy a hug! Obviously I'm hammered now and watching the highlights for the third time but who cares. One of the great days. Even in our very privileged history we've only done this 12 times and I was there with my son, the first trophy we've experienced together. Although I'll never forget the way he looked at me when Smalling had a brain freeze and tackled the "last man" 60 yards from goal!

I think those days are gone G, Man U cannot be considered even a top four club anymore in the same way we can't :(
Yes they can get better again with the right manager/players etc but that sort of domination is a world away.
There is so much more competition now

Exactly. Man Utd fans are discussing the Spurs and ex-Chelsea managers on the Liverpool board while Everton fans watch on. What the ****.

Not me Astro, I'm hammered after a day out at Wembley watching my club win the FA Cup. I need to get to bed as my son has cricket training in a few hours and then we need to meet our friends for lunch. Should be a good Sunday afternoon as they spent the day yesterday watching United win the FA Cup at Wembley.

It will go down in history as the day Man Utd sacked their manager minutes after winning some cup

Clattenburg will be celebrating the most this weekend after getting away with his performance not being the biggest story

If that makes you feel better Astro then go with that.

For me and Stan Jnr it will go down in history as the 2016 FA Cup that we watched United win.

****ing magical experience for us. You should try it!

Why, because we have not been it for 2 of the last 10 seasons?

I was talking about a general historical context, for me it is the day I won the Predictioooo cup and my #footballgenius was #confirmed yet again with me predicting the exact score of the final (and both semis) plus Man Utd's first goalscorer

OK Man Utd have had 3 managers in the last 3 seasons, or an average of 1 season per manager <ok>

Soon to be 4 managers in 4 seasons, ensuring the average is maintained <ok>

Not qualified for it 2 of the last 3 seasons (and the one you did was a dodgy qualifier), or 0% success since the new TV deal has come into effect

How do you make it 3 managers, are you counting Fergie (quite a bit more than 1 season) or Giggs (never called or classed as manager)?

Ah right, so technically only Arsenal and City are top 4 <ok>

This week must have fcking hurt mate!

I can only imagine just what a fcking nightmare the last 4 days have been for you. Getting trounced in some cup you thought you were nailed on to win and then the bitter after-taste of United ending the season with the best domestic cup trophy in the world.
