Johnny, it is too easy to reply to this one so I won't bother. Oh go on then - Cardiff City will have zero points in the Premiership next season 'cos they ain't there. You keep crossing them Johnny and I'll slam 'em in. <laugh>

Same old same old. CityArse hates anyone from Swansea or linked to Swansea so this nonsense is expected. Prophet going on about how his club's better than ours. Give me a friggin break. We're in DIFFERENT LEAGUES you moron.

So let's look at this. Was Hartson criticising Cardiff? No. So what's your problem? Oh I know, he's a Jack. So was he right to say:

"If you don't win games, you're going to slip down the rankings" or:
"He'll probably use the current campaign [Euro 2012] to bed players in for the start of the next campaign"

    Nope. Nothing controversial there.

As for the comment about Speed it's well documented that side-line pundits like Leighton James often have a pop at Welsh managers. He was merely saying that he wouldn't do so.

And you lot call us 'one-eyed'! This was an innocuous article with some unsurprising comments in it. Some people clearly have too much time on their hands in posting stupid threads like this one just to try and score points off someone because he's a Jack.

    Life - get one.

when the profit man says cardiff the team are the biggest in league position makes it biggest in country - when swan sea is biggest in league position then more important is history - how can profit man have both pies and eat them. yes?

If English is not your first language I apologise, if it is you come across as an idiot,

What I have said, and I stick by is the club which is highest in the league are the BEST team in Wales, this is currently SCFC, as I readily admitted on the occasions when SCFC were higher in the league than us last season, when Cardiff were higher in the league than Swansea we were the best team in Wales, and vice versa. However that doesn't make them the BIGGEST team in Wales.

In the 74/75 Season Luton, Carlisle and Burnley were ib the top tier, Man Utd and Villa were in Division Two, so using your "logic" Carlisle, Luton and Burnley (no disrespect to these clubs) were bigger clubs than Man Utd or Villa <yikes>

I don't particularly like Man Utd, and I have no particular affinity for Villa, but I wouldn't suggest they were small clubs <rofl>

But being higher in the league might make you the better side at that particular time, it doesn't make you the BIGGER club.

it is not a case of "have both pies and eat them. yes?"

    Whatever that might mean <doh>

One thing's for certain. We're the best club in Wales..

Your league position proves that you are currently the best team in Wales.

But as to your other claim, well unless you have access to currently confidential profit and loss accounts, well as usual you are talking through your arse (suprise, suprise <doh>)

I don't know which is the richest club in Wales, but neither do you, what I DO kbow however is we have equity (just about) in our stadium, you don't, our backers are solvent and involved in multi- million dollar deals with the Chinese Government, which are being underwritten by the Malaysian authorities.

The Evening Post reported that Hugh Jenkins'es building/roofing company was in financial dire straights, so making statements like "and the richest" are obviouly stupid and unprovable..........the rarefied air of the dizzy heights of the premiership have obviouly gone to your head...............

mind you, you used to talk bollox in the championship as well <doh>

What equity do CCFC (not any subsiduary company) have in the Cardiff City Stadium?

So let's forget about the other directors who are involved in our club, and who quite clearly are solvent, and quite clearly runs very many companies, including the swans !

But let's get back to topic, why do you think that hartson is not allowed to have an opinion on Wales ? I mean he is welsh , a very passionate one, he played for Wales on many occasions, but according to the OP he should shut the **** up , and some other Cardiff fans agree!

But as I said earlier , other people have commented including Savage who is not ridiculed by Cardiff fans, probably because he's not from Swansea ! Quite obviously Cardiff fans are one eyed and don't want anyone from Swansea having an opinion on Wales football in general!

To answer your question Jager, my issue with Hartson (apart from him being a fat, balding ginger jack prick) is that he is constantly in the Media spouting his one sided nonsense with very little good to say about his chosen subjects Cardiff and Wales, obviously though he is full of praise for his boyhood love of Swansea. He is desparate to keep himself in the limelight mentioning on a monthly basis how he would like the Wales job which is a joke, he is simply doing everything he can to stop himself being a forgotten footballer although its only a matter of time as the guy clearly has'nt got 2 braincells to rub together.

No because it's got sod all to do with hartson !

On your other point, if hartson has a half a brain, what about savage? He aint got one at all and faces no ridicule from you, lets face it if hartson was from Wrexham like savage you would say **** all! Basically you are only pissed off because he's from Swansea

I paid less than £20 a game for next season! And there is a price for being in the premier league which is borne out by match day tickets now, I know you don't understand as your club has never been there, but the quality of games will be far higher than yours ;)

Just to keep Jager happy, I think Savage is a total ar$ehole as well. Never rated him as a footballer, someone who wound people up on the pitch with crafty verbals and nasty little tackles but when he was about to receive retribution he disappeared faster than a vibrator in a nunnery.

Don't like him on 606 on the radio either. People are only right when they agree with him. One caller really got him going (I think I heard it on the way back from Pompey last season) when he said he saw Savage buy 20 pairs of flash trainers from Nike or Reebok or somewhere like that and paid a lad a couple of quid to carry them out to his car. Savage went ballistic and if the caller had been in front of him he would have....................... no he wouldn't - see first paragraph.

I liked Hartson as a Wales player, always guaranteed to give 100%. Gave him stick when he played against Cardiff but had grudging respect for the job he did. Like most City fans I wished him well through hsi illness and was pleased to see his recovery. However, he rarely, if ever, says anything positive about Cardiff and consistently snipes at Wales - fully justified when Toshack was in charge (see our standing in the world rankings - all down to Toshack) but it is very unfair on Gary Speed when he has been in the job such a short time and has never had a squad with all his best players to work with.

If he can tone it down a little and take a broader view including positive developments east of Swansea then he has a chance of a career in the media as a whole rather than just for Swansea Sound and occasionally Radio Wales.

This is basically my point although Jager is too stupid to see it, he cant see past it being for any other reason than because he's a Jack (which doesnt help I admit).
