I've registered with Ticketmaster and they say I dont have to activate an account just use the Ticketmaster client ID and password. This is totally different to what the Online Ticket Guide says.
he doesn't have a clue either Ticketmaster say I can activate my account now then they say I don't need to activate after registering the guide says select register; and then select activate and enter email and surname and then customer number and surname when I phone up they say select register and then put you details in: name address, etc. why not have the guide, the web site and the phone line being consistent?
38,000 tickets at £3 each is £114k, enough to employ four or five full time ticket office staff for a year.
They must make a fortune. I went to see Rolling Stones and The Police And it cost £6,50 and £9 booking fees..
Virgin trains are running a late service from London. Leaves at 21:13. I didn't think Virgin ran to Hull.
There's some right cheeky ****s on Owlstalk mocking our potential for sales "because we've always been a rugby league town". Why do people say this when the evidence is entirely to the contrary? And it doesnt take much of a football knowledge to know how many protests there have been against our owners and how that puts people off going. And this is less of a "buzz" for us these days. in 2008 people queued all night for tickets. Now after recent success there's less demand for it, this always happens. Ive registered to reply to them but it's a slow process.
Looks like we're going to have lots Of Wednesday fans in our end. Silly bastards should have held back a few upper sections to avoid this.
Most of our own fans believe that ****, never mind the opposition. People prefer to believe that we're just a small club rather than a potentially big one with a neglected and disenfranchised fanbase.
Left hotel in London alone booked a guest house for 7 of us at st neots just off the A1 on the way home about 1 hour from Wembley.
It sounds good in theory but when you take into account it's not 1 ticket each - as most other clubs would do - then it's less impressive.
I'm puzzling over this aswell. I'm guessing the Guide isn't catering for non-season tiocket holders. We'll find out tomorrow when we try and get the sodding tickets!
For those who haven't got travel yet - national express are also putting on coaches straight to Wembley from Hull Paragon and back.
