Put Zenden and Roy Keane on the field out of the back of mine and only one man would walk off it. That man wouldn't be Roy Keane.
Seems like it, I'm not thinking of people who have good technical fighting skills off the pitch. I'm thinking of your traditional blood and thunder hard cases. By your and Comm's logic, if Zenden can take down Bardsley then he must be harder than him and therefore one of the hardest players we've ever had at Sunderland. Which is definitely not the case.
Agreed. In my opinion there's a difference between being vicious or having learnt the techniques of boxing or any other martial art and being genuinely hard. Look at Rugby Union players- some 20 stone bloke has just been jumping on their head and they get up and laugh it off. You don't see many footballers taking that kind of punishment, its all "ooh he kicked me, I'm going to roll around on the floor". I'm sure football was tougher in the past.
I wouldn't say that, mate. Simply because every one of us is guessing here. I wouldn't prejudge anybody on looks or size though.
I think it's bizarre to put Zenden forward as one of our hardest players because he knows martial arts, who's to say he can take a punch or has the stomach for it. But whatever, different perspectives.
He is missed. Speaking of hot, I thought our Khaleesi was done with nudity on GoT. What an awesome surprise last episode.
It was, it's been a bit thin on that front this series so it was good to see the Khaleesi chebs again.
