West Ham made a £31m bid for France international striker Alexandre Lacazette today, according to Sky sources. However, the offer was rejected by Lyon.

They've upped their offer for their first choice to benteke money.

Lacazette wanted a lot more than them last year so this will be interesting.

It sets the low end bid for benteke if they fail in this French bid too.

Why would WestHam want Benteke, they have Carroll for that type of option. I would think they are looking for somebody different to fit in with the other attackers they have.
