Not trying that hard to be honest. Enjoying a bit time off. was going to start looking after my hols.
Me and the family are off to Lake Okanagan in British Columbia. It's a 9 hr drive but we will break it up with a night in Banff on the way there and a night in Jasper on the way back. It's a beautiful drive thru the Rocky Mountains. As my girls are 18 this summer it will probably be the last family vacation.
Like sea fishing, you'll find me on the piers in winter after the big cod or local rock marks. But I find the fly fishing is taking over most of my fishing.
Oddly enough my missus says her favourite place is the world is a town in Bosnia. I find it a bit odd like but it must have got a lot better over recent years. She did say the bullet holes in buildings was a bit of a haunting sight. please log in to view this image
We have always fancied touring Scotland, getting a car and just driving all round the coast, don't know if we will ever do it though because as soon as holidays are mentioned the wife likes going where its sunny?

We don't go out much for meals drink theatre cinema away days We save our money for holidays. I still go out for a couple of beers though

The gorge descending was absolutely brilliant as was the kayaking on the fast flowing river..I was absolutely bricking it though when we done the jumping off the cliff ledges into Ulswater, particularly the 10 metre jump at the end which I very nearly bottled out of..
