Reckon it'll be a few weekends away in the UK during the Summer we quite like Scotland - possibly a visit to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for a day or so, I'm playing a couple of weekends away at the Lakes so may extend those and mooch around in a mates cottage nearby that's next to some great walks and excellent pubs - trying to plan a visit to Eastern Europe late Autumn time
Tenerife in June for a week and if I'm still unemployed we will book another in September. Probably back there. Was supposed to be America this year but got paid off. B*stards.
we are doing the same as we did last year. an adventure holiday at Derwent Hill near Keswick..A relaxing time doing kayaking, cliff diving, rock climbing, gorge descending just to name a few..After we went there last year all the family agreed they wanted to do this again rather than going abroad..
We thought we were. Mini Schnauzer, loving dogs buy yappy as ****. Worringly I've started to grow a grey beard and my eyebrows to look like him
Cheers mate. We done that once, for two days and it cost us a fortune. Southerners..... at least Turpin wore a ****ing mask. Add that to the rest of the holiday and it becomes quite expensive. I wanted a curved TV and ended up with a barking Mini Schnauzer. ....
Just landed in Fuertaventura a couple of hours ago for a week at a mates villa. There's quite a few for sale, might be worth a butchers. Just had my first beers so off to a good start. Main holiday will be the Maldives in September.
For me it's two trips of just a few days to France for Euro games. Then the proper holiday is a week in Iceland in August. All with my bairn, as per usual.
I did say I was going away. If it makes you feel better, its cloudy and windy! I don't recall paying for clouds. Or wind!
The wife and I had a weekend away in Seville a little while ago, and that was really good. I'd recommend Seville to anyone wanting a city break type weekend. Iceland too, we went there a couple of years ago and that was great. We've got a family holiday coming up in Croatia in July, somewhere between Pula and Rovinj. It's a bit of an extravegance, but it may be our last family holiday as my daughter goes off to Uni next year and my son will be 17 later in the year, so I'm hoping that they'll start wanting to go off on their own. I've also got a weekend in November in Castleton with mates from Uni, playing golf, walking, and drinking. This is probably the one I'm most looking forwards to I'm also hoping to get a few weekends up in the North East next year, as my daughter will be at Durham Uni, as long as she gets the grades, so I've got an excuse to come up. As long as I can fit that around some home games that'll be excellent.
I'm going to have to go hunting for the black nectar tonight. Drinking lager for the week Might as well have gone to Clacton!
