With one of our guys on the near post results in an almost indefensible corner. As long as Khasri beats the first man! I'm hoping this will be a major plus for us next season. It certainly caused chaos for Everton.

It was a corker that one.

I think there`s a utube video somewhere of him doing that delivery so it`s certainly no accident.

He did it against Man City in one of his first games IIRC.

Certainly a weapon when he gets it right.

    Correct.

He also tortured Man Utd with his deliveries, both goals that day come from his set pieces.

He played very well against us, consistency would turn him into a £20m+ player, he needs to work on that and you've got yourself a very good asset there.

He's getting there, mate. I wasn't his biggest fan to start with, I thought he was to erratic and inconsistent. As the season has gone on, he's improved a lot and is finding consistency. I think he'll be a real weapon, next season.

It's good to have a corner taker who can get it past the first man, it felt like years of Johnson failing to do so, I could have strangled him.

Didn't have to in the end.

Same here. I thought maybe he was trying too hard when he first came. He`s settled down a lot and is better for it imo.

I've mentioned this before on here, he was way too in and out for me, almost a luxury player. But to fair, the last 4 games or so, he seemed to grasp what is required..a good player, I look forward to seeing him next year playing for team who is not struggling.

I think you're right about him trying too hard, he was like a kid on a sugar high. Since he's calmed down and his fitness has improved he's looked really good.

Johnson's not good at corners, I think he prefers to hide round the back and to try his luck in the box.

Wouldn't go as far as that. For me a luxury player is someone who has all the attacking ability and doesn't do any defending and is also a bit of a nancy. Khazri is almost the opposite of that in that he's up and down the field all day long and he's pretty physical too!

Love his little shuffle as he takes a corner. Deadly corners at last we have a decent corner taker.

Often looked tired to me in his earlier games and I think his fitness/sharpness improved as the weeks went on, hence his top performances at the end of season. With a full pre-season, I think he'll physically fitter player than this season, which will add to his all round game and ensure he maintains his quality levels for a full 90 mins.
