I think Alli's or Cuco's goals would have been worthy winners. All the others (including Vardy's) are seen in one form or another at least two or three times a season and often in the lower divisions. Alli's and Cuco's were special - you will not see either in England for a long time. Cuco's was so similar to Roberto Carlos free kick which is still talked about. Alli's reminds me of Frank Worthington's for Bolton away at Chelsea - two iconic goals from the past.

*scratches head* that article is from last year though?

Still, would be a sensible love for him.

I said "Will" ... not has.

Yeah I am being harsh, but just knew he would win it back when he scored the goal. He is a great player, but we are building him up as usual.

My problem with goal of the month/season is that the goals selected are the type of shot that 95% of the time hit the corner flag or the scoreboard and are greeted with jeers. It's more a sort of "lucky blind smash of the season".

They get free ticket and travel for tomorrow. It still is a pain for them. I was thinking maybe a three goal head start might be appropriate?

Hope B'mouth embrace this match, they have had a cracking season, would be great to show case themselves in a one off final league game the world will be keeping an eye on.

It was a cracking goal though, to be fair.

Manchester United have cancelled their offer to reimburse travel costs to everyone who travelled from outside the city on Sunday after they realised that only one fan had actually travelled from a Manchester address.

I'm thinking of starting an online petition to have the three points awarded to Boscombe, for the inconvenience suffered. Will also save the mancs from having to play four days ahead of the Cup Final, so everybody wins.

I have already suggested that along with their free travel and match ticket, they should be given a 3 goal head start, but I like your idea better.

Fairplay to him coming out and facing the music.

If one good things come from this is that the search of the stadium prior to gates opening needs to be a bit more rigorous. I don't blame whoever found it for not hanging around and reading the label of who it belongs too.

My one piece of friendly advice would be for him to remove the bluetooth thing from his ear as he looks like a twat

Can I suggest he does what anyone with a modicum of common sense might have done, that is, apart from his usual checks on placing training aids, that he makes a count of how many are placed and how many are returned, and not just think the similar one in his bag is the right one.
So, if 10 training aids are placed, then 10 and only 10 get returned. Numerous surgeons would be able to vouch for this method, as would the example of the late BBC reporter Brian Hanrahan.
