    In four seasons, we got relegated from the Championship, won a trophy, got promoted back to the second tier, and then promoted to the Premier League.

    It will now take Pompey at least that long just to get out of League Two. Might have gone a little too far with that ship-steadying, lads.

    Greeeeen army! What a great day. Saints qualify for Europa, finish with their best position and points in the Premier League and Poopey get beaten by the mighty green army. Brilliant. :D

    I rarely take note of Portsmouth but the gist of many of the fans' comments on the News site (written apparently without irony) is that their players are too good for League 2. No, I'm not joking.

    Here's how I saw the end...Pompey were trying to conserve energy for ET, but then the corner was jammed into the net at the far post by Hartley and Pompey turned to jelly....
