After the way Man City and 'easy option' Guardiola have treated Pelligrini I want us to beat City and Utd to win today so that he ends up in the Europa League instead <ok>

Do you not think that Pellegrini was fully aware of the situation when he signed his 1 year extension at the start of the season?
The media up here were certain that pep was coming many months before it was announced

It's the way it was publicly confirmed etc. The irony is, Pell killed your season the moment he made it public. Killed your league run as the players stopped trying knowing they were getting sold in the summer.

Not really, apart from the first few games we've been pretty dreadful the whole season. Its a miracle we've still got a chance of top 4

Glad you're enjoying the stay - it always helps when the sun is out!

I'll have no problem if you leave Wilf here, Man City have never played to his strengths so he looks like a fish out of water. He's not a player who is going to run around chasing balls. He has merely been a support player for Aguero etc and it hasn't worked out.

An expensive mistake by your recruitment department, so we'll buy him back for 10 mill :emoticon-0148-yes:

Gomis wanted to go to Qatar to make a fortune , he didn't get to go .
Gomis wanted to go to Newcastle in January , he didn't get to go .
Gomis wants to go in the summer ......what Gomis wants and what Gomis gets is two different things .
What we want to do with Gomis , and what happens to Gomis is also two different things

    Says who? .
We don't know what's happening behind the scenes
I think if Gomis starts today , we might be looking at keeping him around ...just an opinion .
Lots of players played horrible under Monk after Aug , Gomis is one of them ....not just the only one though .
Do I want to keep Gomis ..., maybe . Depends on what Guidolin decides for me ,

It is rare for me to really say a player is useless because they can perform one week and be crap for the next 3 or 4 but when it comes to gomis then he is completely useless who never performs as he should and by now should have scored 20 - 30 goals in the time he first joined us...He is not just useless he is completely useless and should not be wearing a swans shirt ever again....................Watch him score a hat trick today now i have slagged him off..<laugh>

If you go by starts , Ayew , Siggy and Gomis all score at a rate of 1 goal per 3 starts .

"Says who?" <doh> It's just an opinion. Bloody hell. Regardless if he scores today or not he has been given plenty of chances yet has underperformed more often than not. He looks lazy and slow, and for a big guy falls over too much. Does he have ability? I'd say yes. But he never seems to want to play to those abilities. That's what I find annoying about him. It's no good having a bit of talent if you don't try, and he looks like he just isn't trying half the time.

I think we may actually lose money if we sell him. Hasn't he got two years and 8 million left on his contract. There is no way we would get 8 million for him, hence a net loss on the deal. We are in a crap position where Gomis is concerned.

Come on roof he is not the type of player that fits in. He will suit somebody well but not us. We have given Gomis more chances than anyone especially when he first joined as he was jinx's baby and it just never worked out and without a good striker then you will suffer the consequences....I have lost count of the amount of games where we outplayed other teams and lost by one goal just because gomis could not hit the target......It's a shame for the lad and i feel sorry for him but we lost too many games through his lack of goals.......

No looking at things here , Guidolin desperately wants to win this game or at the very least have a good showing .
Think we might nick this one at home with that team .

Sorry I can't see anything but a loss. Although I didn't see last week coming. 1-3 city.

Interested though to see how Nordfelt does in this game, as well as some of the youngsters fulton and gorre
