Cheers Lapras, i have Sky. Feel Pompey did everything they could to win tonight, so i have no complaints. Look forward to Sunday.
Is the talking point Matt tidying the lads hair for him at the back or trying to pull his shorts down if you look at the picture? Unwanted advances should be stamped out in football don't you think...... All this baying for Red Cards is so premier league isn't it and shame you are in league 2 really. You have to use a machette to get a Red. On play you should have won the game at a canter so if you don't go through it will be your own faults and not a referee. How it ended 2 - 2 is a bit of a mystery.
Well played in the second half Pompey. The greens just about held on and probably deserved the draw. The 'headbut' might have been a red card if your lot hadn't gone in for a bit of wrestling just before and then acted as if he had been scalped just after. Penalty and Yellow was correct for me but I thought Gary Sawyer was very lucky not to see red for his poor challenge. Respect to your manager for his post match attitude, though I expect he might change his view once he has seen the video. Sunday might be a feisty affair, none the wiser after tonight who is going to get the upper hand.
No mystery greeny - we were at home............ and want to keep the tension going until Sunday Away is a different matter, we like scoring away
Plymouth's manager actually thinks they deserved to win! Did Cook manage to stick one on him he must be concussed.
Entertaining game for the neutral......wouldn't like to bet on a winner overall. What was the deal with Cook and Paul Wotton? I missed that incident.
Paul Wotton stole his crisps and bottle of fizzy water and he wouldn't give them back. Cook pinched his haribo sweeties in retaliation.
He sends Cook off for having an argument, yet doesn't think a headbutt to be violent conduct. The league rarely wants to admit that their refs ever get anything wrong, so nothing changes as usual.
You spelt it wrong Pie - it should have read "then Saints leg end Paul Wotton". He's a bit of a prat isn't he?
Whilst hiding behind the fourth official. Wotton is 5'6 and only weighs about 10 and a half. If they went toe to toe Cook would flatten him.
"Squeaky clean" Plymouth put Gareth Evans out of the match, with a nasty, nasty foul from behind by Carl McHugh, who merely gets booked. Carrying on from the first match, where they committed 17 fouls to Pompey's 5 - says it all really.
Well done Plymouth - another nasty challenge from behind by McHugh, and Danny Hollands limps off injured. Replaced by young Ben Close. Looks like they are hell bent on finishing us off one way or another
Half time whistle, and it's 0-0. Not good news re. our two injuries, with only one more substitution available for a tactical purposes, unless McHugh has other ideas of crippling another one of our players
