Do you still have to go through a tribunal with younger players on a bosman from abroad?

If Ron thinks he is a significant step up on our academy players then it's probably a sensible purchase. Especially with Juanmi on his way. If the reports in Italy are correct, then his wage demands are probably high because he is confident of a premier league deal.

Or he see's Italy as his worst and last choice. He is easily a step up from what we have, he basically would be our long term Davis replacement. I haven't a clue about if there would be a tribunal.

Playing for Newcastle has turned him into a bad RB. Another one is Haidara at LB. Capable players once, but I wouldn't take the chance now. Both have sunk too low.

Janmatt looks like he has the same vulnerabilities as Cedric. Although we're undeniably more organised defensively than Newcastle. I don't think Janmatt can be considered as an upgrade. Even if he was part of better drilled team.

Agreed. We do need a rb but Janmaat has gone backwards as a player in the last 18 months or so . It was more a question of relegated, ex feyenord, dutch international right back with Pl experience - shocked he's not been linked here by media.

I personally disagree that Janmaat has gone backwards recently. For me, he's always been this bad for Newcastle. It's just that up until Pardew left 18 months ago, Newcastle as a team were doing fine and so Janmaat's awful defending wasn't always highlighted/costly.

Similar with Sissoko. He's always been a lazy, couldn't-give-a-damn type of player for Newcastle. But as with Yaya (who Sissoko is basically a poor version of), a lot of people were just happy to ignore that side of his game because of the goals he'd score and powerful bulldoze runs he'd make. But now that has gone, again as with Yaya, people are going off him. Whereas for me, I've never been on him. I've always believed that the negatives outweigh the positives.

Tribunal is only for transfers under the FA banner, so between two clubs in England; Vilhena could be signed free and clear.

Seen him play a few times. He is basically a 19yr old Wanyama with a bit more pace and probably more brains. His full name is also great, Denis Lemi Zakaria Lako Lado
