Honestly sad to see Newcastle go down, I will miss the derbies next year especially if the run of recent results continue. Hopefully you guys will now get rid of the **** in your club and bounce back up straight away hopefully to join us in a nice comfortable mid table position.
Like to see Sunderland lose as rule but I would far rather finish 10th below you guys than say 15th and above you guys (like last season). Find it embarrassing for North East football that Newcastle and Sunderland have never finished together in the top 10 of the Premier League.

Got to say fair play to the Sunderland fans who have, in the main, been pretty decent about the whole thing. I think there's a level of acceptance on our behalf and relief on theirs which has taken the edge of things - this hasn't happened overnight. Add on that until we see what the respective clubs do over the next couple of months it hard to predict what next season is going to be like for us both. ps. All this crap about Burton Albion - I remember last time we went down and the Sunderland fan song doing the rounds was "we're going to Liverpool, you're going to Blackpool" and then Blackpool promptly got promoted and did the double over Liverpool. There's some very strong teams in the championship, that's why I'm worried!
