Charlton fans writing to the fa to complain about the clubs owners get ****ing in give it out large piss off back home and sell the club simple as
The owners should retaliate and relocate them to Molenbeek. The Charlton supporters have been a bunch of knobs, in the experiences I've had with them.
Yep, often voted as the greatest match in Wembley's history - and that includes the '66 final. I met some Mackems that day who I still regard as great friends.
Didn't realise you were a Charlton fan The first time we played you at our new stadium, about 20 of your fans ran riot around our town centre and I've never forgot it. Also coming away from your ground one day, and a brick was put through my cousins windscreen who was driving the car. I know every club has them, and I know that my experiences could have been at any club, but, they just happened to be with Charlton I reckon the final in '73 was way better, but I wasn't around to confirm that.
That is a horrible shame, 83. We generally have super fans, but as you say, there's an element of scum at each club. I took the family to Tyne and Wear last summer and we did the Bede trail. Although I've been to your ground a few times, I couldn't resist heading over on the Metro. I entered the club reception and asked the girl behind the desk if my little girl and I could take a look at the pitch and the stadium. She was extremely polite, and pleased we'd made the trip, but she just couldn't facilitate my request, so I pulled out my Ace card and said, 'Oh, that's a shame. They did it for us at St. James's yesterday.' Well, that was it. A short call to security and soon enough we were enjoying a tour of the stadium, dugouts, players' lounge, changing rooms, and a close look at the Bob Stokoe memorabilia in the glass cabinet. It was a super half hour. The next day we reversed the trick at Newcastle. They didn't fall for it.
I'm from Jarrow, Ponderings. You could have called in for a cuppa ,and I could have shown you all of Jarrow, including memorabilia of the Jarrow March, that's around the town Glad you enjoyed the tour and I hope you didn't damage any of our trophy cabinet
We did a bit of the town before heading out to Bede World, but I'll certainly head back this summer. Absolutely adored Tynemouth Priory; hated Whitley Bay. North Shields was great for the Stan Laurel sites, and Wallsend for the Roman ruins proved most enjoyable. Tyne and Wear is a great area. Smashing people. Wonderful history. And I'll hold you to that cuppa. I didn't damage anything, I promise. I'd love that huge painting of the old Roker Park, though.
