it that really only hit me after cheslea.. that is for anfield....

Its all going to ****... but we will have EUROS to enjoy you are right.. We should decide if a EURO 2016 watch thread is required or use this one.

I think the euros are ok as a tournament. it is rather samey as a style goes though.

I remember going looney as a student in 1998 world cup. it had 3 games per day and after groups i was just ****ed.

Should probably start a separate thread for Euros, keep this one for discussing euro league / domestic games

Will watch some of the Euros when they start as it's something to watch at least but internationals do nothing for me ... is all about that Liverpool ... used to like international footie more when I was a kid and yeah World Cup is much better than Euros

One massive game obvs and then four utterly meaningless ones !!

What's everyone doing for the final btw ?? I'm tempted to fly to Basel and try to find a ticket, could end up all being for nothing and missing the game though ... but if not got a big group of reds getting together going watching it in the city centre, they're putting it on big screens

Do Chelsea genuinely believe that there are no better options than Terry?

It seems similar to Gerrard where the player has more say than he should.

Because we treat our legends right at our club ;), that or Terry actually loves the club rather than the ego of Stevey G who couldn't handle being demoted to a bench position and has to claim all the glory himself <whistle>

There's a few around still, cheaper ones don't get you to Basel airport till 6pm though and then you've got to get to the ground which I imagine will be a bit of a nightmare. Then there are others at crazy prices that don't get you there that much earlier. Don't care about a hotel would sleep at the airport or stay out after the game. Just spent a wedge on booking my Wimbledon trip in July though so can't really justify it

fly to strasbourg or munich and get a train...

I reckon you'd get there alright but the swiss are funny ****s.

i think they won't be at all welcoming of extras looking to get tickets

But there will prob be 5k scousers trying it on.

I'd love a road trip. great time of year for driving down and having a lark.... Or even flying and renting a car....

Genuine question now? Cahill has dipped massively, i like Zouma but he is still young and then the young red bulls center back may be good but you never know. I don't feel like Terry is a player to learn off, he wants to be the main guy at Chelsea. Similar to Gerrard, how many players had an interview where Gerrard helped them a better player? You can learn off him because of his quality but him actually coaching younger players doesn't happen.

LFC got a 9000 tickets, 2000 of which went to #plastics, and Sevilla sent back 3000 tickets. Plus Basel has no public transport and nowhere for fans without tickets to go.

UEFA has ****ed it up so much the atmosphere in Liverpool city centre will probably be better than the stadium.

    What's the genuine question?

Of course theres better defenders than Terry. He's 35 and super slow and you have to play a line so deep Pulis would be proud of it as well as having Matic in front to protect him. However, i'm still glad we have given him a contract as he is a Chelsea legend and it would be nice for him to retire as one.

Fatty Frank was never Chelsea through and through though having joined from West Ham :p. Stevey G though was happy enough to bail as soon as he wasn't getting his fat wage packet + guaranteed starting 11 spot and watching Rodgers sink into oblivion. Honourable John Terry is sticking with the club he loves and retiring a chav (might have egg on my face if he doesn't sign) :p

Jt is a filthy chav who rides his team mates wives, uses racist language, cheats, puts on kit for pics.... and got done for pics of girls way back... so yeah reward the leg...end... if you must.
