Let's give the club (not the players, owners etc) a rousing send off.. nufc is more than a fat owner or ****e "football" board. I for one will give my all to show the club that it still means something to me, dark days ahead maybe but one thing will last and that is our football club, which can only be taken away from us if we let it
Exactly. The media will be waiting for the bedsheets and tears so let's give em noise, passion and show Rafa what we think of him.
Exactly, stand tall and show some pride. Sing for Rafa from start to finish. What's done is done, we can't change that now. If there was the slightest hope that we the fans could influence something, then showing Rafa how much we want him to stay on is it. Relegation is hard, but for me seeing the best manager we have had in years leave would be even harder to take. Sunday we stand United for our club, each other and Rafa.
divent nah what pride is left ..Ashley has ripped it oot of us all ..made us a laughing stock once again
Mate, we've had Ashley make us look far worse than this before. His farting around with Kinnear and Wise made us look far worse than relegation. This was 1) expected, and 2) predominantly Lee Charnley's fault. I agree with the OP - the crowd should turn up for a relegation party. Why the fck not. If I were up there, that's exactly what I'd be doing - get hammered, sing all day and make Rafa feel as loved as we can - as soon as the lights are turned off on the season, there's nowt the fans can do, it's in....<shudder>....the hands of Ashley and Charnley.
Maybe we can take some beach balls? Seriously though OP is spot on. Need to bring the noise and let Rafa feel the love - its the only slight hope we have of keeping him. If Rafa does go we should boycott the first few home games next season, no good for Ashley to have all that free advertising if there is no EPL camera's or fans to see them. #singyourheartsoutforRafa
He has not, you know!! Arsewipe he may be, but he will never rip the pride out of our team or out of us.. This group of players are a disgrace I grant you, but the club will go on from here. we will stroll the league next year and come back stronger. Cuttting all the ****e from the squad will lead to a stronger team in the long run. We needed this to happen, it was the only way for things to change.. Up The TOON.!!!
In some ways, what goes on on the terraces on Sunday will be at least as important as what takes place on the pitch - at least from our point of view anyway.
