Good Morning Everyone, please log in to view this image Gary Hooper @HOOP588 What a shame Villa, Newcastle and Norwich will join us in the Championship next season. Wigan bounce back up, and are joined by Burton. Wallsall, Millwall, Bradford and Barnsley fight it out in the play offs. Looks like it will be a Walsall v Millwall final. If this occurs we should have a pact between us. We could call it 'The Walsall pact ! There hasn't been much movement in the odds for next Manager :- Leeds United Manager First League Game 2016/17 Season Next Permanent Manager Caretaker and interim managers completing at least 10 competitive games will be deemed the permanent manager John Sheridan 1/6 Steve Evans 6/1 Karl Robinson 12/1 Dougie Freedman 12/1 Walter Zenga 12/1 Fabio Cannavaro 12/1 Tim Sherwood 18/1 Chris Wilder 18/1 Christian Brocchi 18/1 David Moyes 20/1 Nigel Pearson 20/1 Simon Grayson 20/1 Mick McCarthy 20/1 Steve McClaren 25/1 Steve Bruce 25/1 Paul Clement 25/1 Michael Appleton 33/1 Chris Coleman 33/1 Sinisa Mihajlovic 33/1 Roberto Di Matteo 33/1 David O'Leary 40/1 Dennis Wise 40/1 Alan Smith 40/1 Brendan Rodgers 40/1 Roberto Mancini 40/1 Walter Mazzarri 40/1
Millwall wont get past Bradford........... They have been the best team in the division since Christmas...... Their crap start means they are in a false position. Sunday and a week on Friday should be officially declared lets all laugh at Millwall days.
Morning all.. I kind of hope Cellino asks Evans to remain and for Evans to turn around and say up yours. Wouldn't even mind every coach Cellino approaches saying no way could they work under him, something needs to change. It's just the same circle of events every season at the moment...
Those odds are out od date. wilder is going to the blunts having refused to go to Charlton. In other news Ross McGreedycnut is leaving Fulham unless they give him his third new contract in a year. Sunderland and Norwich both have bids on the table that trigger his £12mill release clause. Simple as this if Sunderland sign him they go down next season......
Don't think so Chippy. Love him or hate him, his goals keep sides up. If we'd have held onto him, we could well have made the play offs. Morning by the way
Breaking: Nobody knows when pre-season starts, where they're going, nobody knows who's staying or leaving or who the manager is. Sorry that's not actually news is it fooking joke club
Morning all, I bet the bosses at Sky Sports are creaming their pants at the idea of being able to show us, Newcastle and Villa on tv every week. Looking at the odds for next manager who jumps off the page at you as the man you would want to be in charge next season? There are three I would be happy with- Karl Robinson, Tim Sherwood and Simon Grayson. I suppose four as I would like to see Evans given the chance to carry on, cant believe Im saying that, just for a bit of stability for a change.
I'm not saying I want him back, that ship has sailed long ago. I'm just replying to Chippy's point on what might happen to Sunderland if they sign him.
I don't rate Sherwood as a manager, Grayson I doubt would work with Cellino, but(and I have to be honest I had to google Robinson) he has the ability and seems to have done well with the MK Dons. I'd still hope Evans was given another season to see what might happen IF Cellino invests properly in the squad..because another manager would mean starting all over again..
I know you didn't Boggers.. He may score loads if he joined the makems, but I don't think he's a premiership player. Just like Beckford, he found his level IMO in the Championship..
If you were another clubs chairman looking at Evans you would believe he has done great. You would look at the conditions he has to work under, the lack of backroom support and staff and how he has achieved a mid table finish. I'm sure Cellino instructed Evans that his target was survival when he took over and avoid relegation?
Agreed Ristac, now I realise Evans isn't everybodys cup of tea(including me) but we need stability and IMO getting rid of him now would be a mistake. It would be groundhog day all over again. New manager, new players, new tactics, time to gel etc etc.
