Have a problem on Sunday. When I get too tense or worried about a game, I turn it off. As I am actually at the match on Sunday, I may have to ask the ref to stop the game....hope you are all alright with that.
I used to do the same until I conquered the tenseness bit. Peculiarly, it can still afflict me if I'm listening on radio. At the stadium it has never affected me. Bet it doesn't to you either. Being there gives you a tension release, I think.
Indeed. Even same league position but with more points will mean the tide's still coming in, though it'll be a stretch, so I'd rather we finished 5th or 6th for his sake. For anyone not in the know, Onionman Jr has never seen Saints fail to improve season on season; his first game was a couple of weeks after Nigel A took over the reins. Vin
I'm with the posh with-it crowd in the Kingsland....close enough to the Chapel to get the whiff of Mintoes.
Thanks for reminding me...I hadn't noted down my seat number (K/715). Had to look through my e-mail trash. Stupid smart cards.
I'm determined to get to St Mary's next season, might even make a weekend of it. I get so jealous, reading about you all meeting up and going to the games
Well I'm at Gatwick, on my way to Tenerife. Chelsea helped us out a bit last night, so I go on holiday confident of Europa Footie! Please have a drink for me (not on me) at the old farmhouse on Sunday guys [emoji3]
I'm playing golf in Chepstow next week and one of the guys has suggested going into Newport on Monday or Tuesday evening for a drink and something to eat. Any recommendations for that part of the world? Thought I'd wear my "England - World Cup Winners" rugby shirt in order to endear myself to the locals Must admit that I'm looking forward to a pint of Brains SA ................
