I'm just happy that we stayed up.
Whoever is given the permanent position for next season will have my full support.

Thanks to all that kept us up and in the money.

Yes but we have something different here with Franco and Curt, they are both around the same age, have much in common with a great depth of experience, and Franco will confer with Curt on tactics and players, that much I do know..............<ok>

........expected to be ratified at tomorrows Board meeting, rather than a done deal. A lot can happen in 24 hours!

If it happens I think it's the right decision. Guidolin has had a trial and while there are some reservations, he has done well overall. A vastly experienced manager, he wants and relishes the challenge. Guidolin will be here because he wants to be here. We can immediately set the wheels in motion for next season.

Brendan has had his chance to manage us and left of his own accord. He'd rather be at Liverpool.

Apparently he is getting quite a transfer kitty too , MEOW ..........ROOF - ROOF .
Sorry .........If this is on the up and up , I hope Curtis is pencilled in here somewhere , but I fear Guidolin will want free rein . Be in Guidolin's own best interests to have Curtis around and I do get the feeling they are of kindred spirits working together .
PS ... If offered , I hope he takes it .. And neither is in stone yet .

He won't. I actually go so far as to say that if Guidolin wants Curtis out he won't be taken on. Can't see it happening as they work well together.

Well if it is confirmed he's got the job tomorrow it's a very smart move before the Man City game and at least the rebuild can start asap and Guido knows the deadwood that needs chopping.

What I will say in Guidos credit, given that we rested/dropped 6 starters, and given the quality of WHU this season, our victory and performance at Upton Park, for me, ranks as one of our top 5 performances/results in the PL.

I don't know , I'll bet Guidolin never shared his toys with boys when he was one . I actually hope something is written in it with Curtis involved , could almost be a deal breaker for me .
Although Curtis took us over 2 points from relegation and handed the team over to Guidolin 1 point from relegation his 8 points from 7 games was short of what he deserved .The relegation teams all played great when Curtis was in charge and we were lucky to be where we were when Guidolin took over .
As Guidolin , with Curtis , kept doing ok , all the relegation teams went back to losing . Curtis has been huge in my books

I agree. Discussing Curts role would be a none starter. His position is his as long as he wants it and if a potential manager didn't like it, he'd probably be told to get stuffed.
    Curt is non negotiable.

I hope that it`s true, for all his faults he`s done the job that rodger the bodger refused in case it tarnished his image. Yes some (a lot) of the games were bordering on the terrible, he came here with a job to do, and he`s done it with some to spare.

I hear that Huw had to rush to the shops to get more bog rolls, Rodge wanted £100million to waste on transfers. So perhaps there`s no surprise he`s touting himself elsewhere:

Brendan Rodgers on hearing this news has apparently ruled himself out of the running.

If the reports are wrong and the bodger does get the job, there`ll be a lot of egg on my face.

I will wait until the club confirms Guildo as manager as you cant trust anyone...

Jinx said Brendan is not going anywhere........24 hours later Brendan was paraded as Liverpool manager..
Jinx said. Curtis is to be the manager until the end of the season......2 days later Guildo was taking training

<laugh> i tend to wait now until its made official on the swans official web site.....<laugh>
