Stones doesn't lack composure, he thinks he's Beckenbauer. His issue is knowing when to play safe and find row Z. I hope they blame you for the #jinx now, if he ends up playing out of his skin and Lukaku finally decides it's time to break sweat again.....
They will, I get the blame for everything on here. With regards to Stones, he seems to just twist and turn far too much for me, just get your head up kid... maybe it's Martinez's fault, for making them play it out of defence every time, who knows, he's not a £50m player though, you'll laugh all the way to the bank if Chelsea come back for him for that sort of money. I was on the ferry back from IOM on Sunday by the way, your development squad were on board, Joe Royle and David Unsworth also... nice guys, not sure what they went over there for mind.
It's Martinez fault for encouraging him to overplay, instead of coaching him in WHEN to play. Despite having a poor season, the lad is a quality footballer, he just needs the right manager / coach to get hold of him. The U21's played the IOM seniors on Saturday Unsie and Joe are both top blokes, and know what Everton is all about, unlike the current senior sides manager El Fraudo
Not a Martinez fan then would you swap him for Van Gaal? Yeah a bloke from the IOMFA was with them, I figured they'd had a game/tournament out there.
No mate, he's a goon. I was never having him tbh. And no I wouldn't as LVG's footie puts me to sleep.
I thought that he was available after injury, but accept you will know better than me, so that is good news for us, as is Gareth Barry being unavailable, but you still have a potentially lethal squad and usually manage to spoil our party. No offence intended in that remark, as an aside, I have always had a bit of a soft spot for your club as I spent some time in my younger days sailing out of Liverpool with a crowd of Evertonians who were great shipmates happy days.
Not good news, I expect to see a full strength Everton tommorrow, and am just a little nervous tbh, we have so much to gain, I keep telling myself that all we need to do is, 1, keep eleven players on the pitch, 2, out run them, 3 score one more goal than them and we are in wonderland, it sounds easy but we dont do easy.
Just been on to try and get 2 spares for my pals (SAFC fans but based in that London). Not a seat in the house. If anyone comes across 2 going, gimme a PM.
All this crack about Everton being the best team to be playing in this situation? Even if we were playing a Catchgate Buffs second XI I'll still be worried that we would cock it up! Nobody in this league is anywhere near a pushover. Tough game lies ahead!
Absolutely! Anybody thinking it will be a walkover is an idiot! Can't believe the bookies have us odds-on. We are Sunderland!
