Whisper it. A West Ham loss will mean an easier task for us. :bandit: We would need only a draw and a win.

well we should be ahead of southampton but they have had a fantastic run and have been best team lately. they have playied their way in to a good position to then have to throw the europa and focus on getting.... europa again next year.

Bayern Munich sign Dortmund's Mats Hummels and Benfica's Renato Sanches:

Why do all the German clubs sell their best players to Bayern ? The top premiership clubs would prefer to take less money rather than sell to their nearest rivals. No wonder the German league is so uncompetitive.

Very little choice I reckon - Bayern are a powerhouse and can command anyone. Plus Bayern is Hummel's hometown club.

You do have to feel for Dortmund.

I don't mind the Mancs winning, they're a nothing team now. If they get top 4 at City's expense that's a great result IMO.

Don't think West Ham will want to say goodbye to their ground on the back of a loss..
At the very least I can see a draw in this game or West Ham win..
But, saying that, when LVG has needed a result this year, he's usually got one.
But.. Martial not playing is going to be a miss, he was one of the keys to their win in the FA Cup.
    Tough one to call

    • If Man Utd get top 4 Woodward will #bottle sacking LVG which means another £100m or so wasted.
    • LVG is crap in the CL and won't do anything there anyway.
    • City slowly getting better in the CL have a significant setback.
    • City not having CL to offer new recruits hurts them.
    • No CL for Sterling the ****.
    • West Ham loss also makes it easier for us to finish above those ****s.
    • **** the City fans who walked out on Pellegrini (he's the worst manager to win the CL but at least give him 10 minutes to say goodbye).

United will see the £75m-a-year payment drop to £52.5m if they fail to qualify for the Champions League for two successive seasons.

United stand to gain a £4m bonus, however, on any occasion that they win the Premier League, FA Cup or Champions League.

No this is the Van Gaal that couldn't get out of a group of Wolfsburg, PSV and CSKA, got beat by Midtjylland, and then got spanked by us after begging UEFA to let them sleep at home the day before

For their club's executive being in the CL and winning a trophy, is well within their objectives. And for many fans (despite the ponderous footie) it will be an improvement on Moyes and on last season, they may well be happy to keep him.

United could well win the FA cup and get CL football next season while we could be without European football if we don't beat Sevilla. Why would any of us wish them to get top 4 ???

Not too bothered between city and utd for 4th. Either missing out has its own good points.

    #boring
Winning the Europa Cup is far more exciting and better than qualifying in 4th. Shame it doesn't replace 4th spot as that would make winning even sweeter.
