Hi I'm Skidby Tiger, born in Nottingham, raised in Skegness, came to Hull when I was 18 to Uni - a mate who supports Hull City invited me to a match to watch the Tigers and I've been a fan since - that was when they'd just move to the KC (the Circle?). I'm really pleased in the direction NP is moving the club, the clubs transfer policy and obviously the results - steady progress built on a solid foundation - and the Allams demand our huge thanks and respect for sorting the clubs finances out. I lurked on 606 - didn't really like the format - but I much prefer this forum style so I'll be contributing more. I'll get of my soap box!
Skidby Tiger. Strangely feel happier to post here. Have regularly watched City at home for 20 years. Happy with many things that are happening and look back on the premier league as a learning experience. Suspect next season is when promotion is realistic goal.
hi, miffster by name, hull city mad board pervert. First City game 1972, 2-0 win v Bristol City, Season ticket hoder east stand
Good evening, another pass holder in East Stand and formerly Kempton/Bunkers Hill youngster with attitude but now fully matured at the grand old age of ????? I've been a big admirer of the City board on the 606 site but never posted strangely enough. I've come very close to choking on my tea on many occassions when reading some of the threads, especially responses to the WUM's. Brilliant set of lads and lasses on here.
Hello! Febbos here Swedish Hull City fan since the beginning of 2007, have been hanging around at Hull City Mad the last year. I am the "operator" behind www.svenskafans.com/england/hull which is Hulls fan base in Sweden/Scandinavia. I write articles about fixtures, rumours, chronicles, interviews, etc! Have never been able to watch a game live, but follow them as good as I can via radio, tv etc. I will certainly make my way over the sea when I get a steadier money flow, not easy as a student Send me a PM if you want to be "interviewed" or something similiar
Regular on cityindependent, which seems to be getting less and less traffic and gets slower and slower. Just having a peek.
I cant remember actually, haha. Have always been a fan of English football, and followed both the Premier League and The Championship during some years, without really cheering for anyone. I have always liked the underdogs, and cant stand it with everyone who follows "the big four" in Sweden, just because they are in the top. I chose a club with some heart/soul
Hello, My name is Dean and I swear to tell the truth - The whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me god.
Good for you I like to follow the underdogs too, so have been keeping an eye on blackpool this season! I'm 20, a student, and only been following football for the last few years since i started going out with my girlfriend (a boro supporter) who got me into it. My close family doesn't really follow footy so didn't grow up with it, although i found out recently that my grandad was a referee! Anyway, been hooked for the past few years, and since i was born and bred in hull, naturally i support the tigers Live in bridlington now, when i'm not at uni, so have been to a couple of brid matches aswell when i get the chance, which is a completely different atmosphere to the kc so makes a change.
Well done, you made a good choice. Where are you in Sweden? I'm a big fan of Gothenburg, though I haven't been there for a while. In fact, the last time I was there was the last time England played Scotland. We went to a sports bar to watch the game and just before kick-off, it filled up with tartan army. About twenty lads all in kilts and ginger wigs, those jocks get everywhere.
NotiinghamTiger here, the name should give it away. Im living in Nottingham but support the Tigers. Born in Hull and make as many games as possible. Never really liked 606, but much prefer this format. Look forward to many heated discussions with the tiger nation UTT
Im around 1 hour from Gothenburg. Gothenburg is alright, but born and raised in Stockholm, probably on of Europes "most beautiful" capitals Johnhenry: You must feel like home then?
