That's astonishing. Makes you wonder in many ways what more can a manager do (and I've not been best pleased with him this season).
How we didn't win the league - only Abel with a decent record in front of goal, so when he was injured or off form then no second option. midfield scared to take a shot for most of the season. Very few goals from set pieces, especially corners.
If you showed those graphs to someone who had no knowledge of the final table, they'd assume that the team labelled 'Hull' would have been easily top of the league. However, we didn't finish 1st, nor 2nd, nor 3rd but 4th. Which proves that statistics such as these are a waste of time, and I've just wasted a minute of my life posting this
Agreed, that's why we were relegated too - if we're promoted Hernandez will be better after his couple of seasons acclimatisation, he won't cope on his own though.
Leicester with their appalling statistics, which would make Pep Guardiola puke, have shown that it's goals that count.
