Amazing. First win against Spurs since our return to the PL. Koeman has a win against every PL club. Only two players have more assist than Tadić since he came to to Southampton. If you wanted to bet on Steven Davis scoring two goals in a single match, I'm sure the odds would be bigger then Liecester winning the title. We're sixth on the table. It's on. What a season.
We need to win at the Etihad next season to complete the set. Just amazing these last six seasons. We want sixth......
Pochettino looked like he couldn't be arsed today and I think that probably rubbed off. Kinda reminded me of how he was in a couple of the cup games with us.
On a lovely family holiday in lanzarote. It's hot. Managed to find a bar and watch the match, felt very Brits abroad! Really really impressed and pleased we won. Not pretty but effective. Defended well when we were under the cosh, took our 2 chances well. Davis gets better and better imo.
I'll say something harsh about Pinocchio, 'cause I don't feel like being charitable to him. He's, more or less, a one trick pony. When I see the game later I expect Spurs to play the same way throughout the match. They will be at their very best for the first half hour and then they'll start to become slightly less depending upon how the game evolves. Pinocchio's teams seem to blow up around 70-75 minutes as well, depending upon how hard they've had to work. I'm basing that view on a lot of what I saw him do at Saints and a bit of what he's done at Spurs. He won't win the league next season because he'll have been found out again. I can't guarantee that but I think it's more than likely.
That is a valid interpretation of the law. That is not how the law is actually applied. At least 3-4 times a game someone will be in an offside position and they blow as soon as the pass is made. I would say 95% of the time they do not stand around and wait to see how that play develops.
Sooooooooo....not quite in our hands to get at least 7th. If we beat Palace (giving us 63 points), Liverpool have to beat both Chelsea and West Brom to finish above us and West Ham have to beat United and Stoke...though 1 win and a draw might do it (depending on GD). Anyone care to check my sums.

Put ourselves in a great position. My only concern is last season, fighting for 5th on the last day............got 7th!
I don't think it is harsh at all Poch is a one trick pony. It's a very good trick though especially with the players he has at spurs. I thought we were excellent today; we have a lot of potential if we can keep hold of them
Spurs were out of ideas without Alli. The defending at times was comical but I thought we ended up comfortable in the second half! What a weird performance but a win at Spurs- how good does that feel
