Just seen the Stephens red card, never a red in a millions years. An unfortunate injury from an honest challenge. But, regards Ramirez, a point ive touched on many a time, that is the difference between the player we got from Southampton and the player we sent back to southampton. Rewind back to September/October 2014 and Ramirez would have pussied a challenge far weaker than that. By the end of his stint here he was getting physical, winning challenges and really looking like a player suited to the english game. He's definitely one that got away.
Stephens flew in with his studs up and followed through on Ramirez despite getting the ball first. That's a red card.
