Its exactly one year to the day since my keyboard warrior get it all off your chest moment..... http://www.not606.com/threads/to-steve-bruce-hull-city-afc-players.300054/ Sadly, its unravelled badly in the last 12 months, not a great surprise really...... My, what fun we have had in the year though...... Last bit was (predictably) prophetic.... With respect, the majority of you players & management may be here for another year or so, and will then be off to pastures new. That's football, we get it. BUT THE FANS WON'T, WE CAN'T, WE WILL STILL BE HERE DEALING WITH OUR DICTATOR-ESQUE OWNER, WHO IS STRANGLING THE VERY LIFE OUT OF OUR CLUB, TURNING FAN ON FAN. THAT'S WHY FOR A FEW MINUTES, NO MORE, ON SATURDAY, PLEASE RESPECT OUR RIGHT TO PROTEST, IT IS THE FUTURE OF OUR CLUB AT STAKE, AND THE FUTURE OF THE NEXT GENERATION OF HULL CITY AFC FANS, BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL START WALKING AWAY IN DROVES, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. THANK YOU. CITY TILL I DIE. ALLAM OUT.
Oh aye, Bobby Ace and Smartarse. Think I've seen a post or two of the former around these parts of late. But what became of Smartarse? And he never did explain why he said what he did to me. Still, it's one ignore list I enjoy being on
Lol, yes there were a few likes! What I would have liked more than anything, would be for everyone to be talking about football, the play offs, Wembley. Instead our ****wit owners continue to score own goal after own goal, Jamie Carragher would be proud of their record....
Haters still hating Smartarse hasn't posted for months, the last time he was browsing was March 19th, hopefully that was the day he jumped off the Humber Bridge.
It's good to see the trust recently made a few tweaks as was suggested to become more representative and inclusive. I reckon there's a few threads some would prefer stayed buried.
Tomorrow like many, I will be saying my goodbyes to the people I have sat with around me, I originally sat in E3 and even when we got kicked out of there one of the group made it happen that we all moved to our new seats in N4. This hairbrain scheme would have made it cheaper to renew as I went alone, but it is just plain wrong how he is treating other sectors of fans. These owners will leave one day as nothing last forever, and I will be back at the Circle, hopefully with consessions back in place by the new owner, and with the added bonus that i can blood my two grandsons to be part of a community that has given me a lot of years of pleasure both at Boothferry and Circle. ALLAMS OUT your not welcome anymore
When will the public be allowed to read Jon Walkington's report? Can we obtain it through a Freedom of Information request? I mean it may be heavily redacted, but...
I have been demanding this report for years, it is a disgrace that it has not been released into the public domain.
Where did that thought come from. I was very vocal againsts the stupid name change idea and just as vocal about the morons who booed. I think you have seen my thoughts on this scheme. Why would I or someone else be responsible for booing anti name changers and expecting support on apposing the scheme. I just don't see the link. Unless you know some people personally, then I stand corrected.
I wouldn't worry about it, some of those making a lot of noise about the current situation, were shouting others down during the previous rounds of evictions and we're now paying the price. I don't think anyone thinks "let it happen, see how they like it". I think right minded people learn through experience, and try to prevent others being **** on like they were. It's a time to stand together.
If Assem 'goes', then Ehab will look to get rid asap in my honest opinion. Assem is holding back on the sale because he wants to tie new owners into similar levels of funding to those he has provided...he is proud and an emotional type and doesn't want to leave being seen as a complete failure. Believe it or not, I think he at least wants to leave knowing he has put the club in 'safe hands'.
I'm of the opposite opinion. I think Assem wants to get rid and Ehab likes being the owner of football club, especially if we are in the Premier League. After all what would you rather be the owner of a company that supplies marine generators or the owner of a company that supplies marine generators and a Premier League football club?
