Premier League ...scheme takes off Championship..scheme flops I must be stupid then because i hope we lose in the play offs. Im more bothered by people being priced out then what league we are in
I will be supporting city at derby. They can play **** in the home leg Get beat and piss even more supporters off into not signing up ( not going to the home game )
What a bizarre game it's going to be for you filey - you're off to Derby to hopefully watch City lose. Unbelievable.
It was posted before I got my reply in. Let's hope City don't win 5-0 then, that'll make the home leg to which you're not going academic.
We win 2 - 0 at derby We then lose 4-0 at home playing ****e People go home even more pissed off and refuse to sign up to scheme I see them win I dont see them lose
The best chance we have of getting the scheme scrapped (possibly the only chance) is getting a new owner and that will only happen if we're promoted. That's why it's stupid.
Different view points again. And what you believe. I believe promotion means the Allams will not sell. Hence the membership scheme stays. I think there's more chance of it being scrapped if we stay down and fewer people sign up. I for one believe the Allams have no intention of selling either way. So the more obstacles in their way, the better.
Thats your opinion My opinion is the ALLAMS wont walk with so much money coming in in the premier league. But its doent matter to you because your going to go what ever happens regarding this **** scheme
As I have said in an earlier post, you fight the battles to win the war. I think folk should be encouraged to withhold their subscription, just as the Trust is encouraging it's members (and others) to do, up to today. Those who join at the last push will do so and that is their prerogative, although I understand some of the feeling against them - so do the club, it's not an uncommon tactic of theirs, is it? I share the belief of an earlier poster (I forget their name - sorry!) that having anti-scheme members both inside and outside of the scheme (and/or the ground) is a useful thing. Voices and actions against the scheme can be ongoing from everyone who cares about changing what is imposed upon them. A successful campaign against the terms and conditions of this scheme really must work hard to allow choice of membership status and to be inclusive and encouraging in echoing the opinions of everyone. If the scheme is as bad as we all say then that balanced approach will bring to the fore why it is bad and allow fairness and honesty to be a key element in tackling it. The only way to win this is by as prolonged a campaign as necessary, of very public protest across as many fronts as is possible, as it is fairly certain no change is imminent. I don't agree that once the subscriptions are made that the fight is lost, I personally believe it will only just be beginning in earnest. I think it is often forgotten that the Trust is not a full-time professional body geared up to respond at a drop of the club's hat. An idea for the Trust to consider: Use your website to record a register of all those who wish it to be known that they agree/disagree with the club scheme. Let it show whether they are ST, DT or not just not buying for the KCOM (you might ask for a reason and how long). Let it show Trust or not Trust. Let this be seen, as is the Life Members. they can contact you to remove and you can delete as necessary. This is something that can build, it isn't particularly partisan or political, just an expression of opinion. They can leave contact details and you might improve recruitment, but the primary goal is to register a public opinion.
When we're talking about the Allams, we're actually talking about Ehab, as Assem's pretty much out of the picture now. And I think (obviously it is just my opinion) that Ehab will get fed up of all the **** that comes with his ongoing falling-out with the fans. In fact, I think that protesting outside Ehab's house would probably be far more effective than protesting at the ground, or any drop-off in pass sales.
Just think, Derby forum members will be arguing over team selection and tactics for the play offs. They'll be working out travel plans for the away tie. And planning their day for the home tie. They'll be together as one tho right now. All for one and one for all. And look at us.
You wouldn't think so, same as you wouldn't have thought fans wouldn't have booed those protesting the name change Sad, but true ....... what a ****in' state to be in.
I really can't imagine any fan in or out of the scheme booing the anti scheme people. I believe that most of the people joining don't agree with it, they just don't have nerve to risk losing their seats in case we get promoted. Funny how the deadline for signing is just before the play off games, plays on the fears of the Premier League fans. The ones who have signed up would love to have principles and not sign but they are too frightened so take the easy way out.
If we had anyone at the club with marketing credentials they'd be on the phone to all those who renewed last year before we got relegated! A phone call or letter asking if you're going to renew? These muppets just don't give a F'ck. Adam Pearson left an FC fan I know a message on his phone! Now he knows how to treat a fan base
