Chelsea and Tottenham have been charged by the Football Association with three offences of failing to control their players and officials both during and after Monday's match.
Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele has also been charged with an alleged act of violent conduct following the 2-2 draw.
The FA said Dembele's alleged eye-gouge on Diego Costa is more serious than a normal charge of violent conduct.
That means a three-game ban "is clearly insufficient" if he is found guilty.

i wonder just how many he will get then?

So it Costa eye , he's got another ..... Considering who it happened to , I'd not go further with penalizing , I'm sure the League always considers things based on the participants. 3 games , the only other thing I would give Dembele is possibly a medal .

I don't know what goes through these guys heads when they gouge somebody's eye, I'd do it in a life or death situation but nothing short of that. I remember Mourinho doing it to someone from Barca when he was at Real and that destroyed any good will I had for him.

. . . . and to mine, South Shields, who finished the season as Champions of the same division, having gained millions of points more than Ryhope <party>

I've just been reading about the sports science at ********* (the 'L' word). This isn't a piss-pot outfit we're talking about here. Ranieri was shocked when the owner insisted that Pearson's coaching staff were staying, Now I see why. Have a read of this :

there is a lesson there for all new managers.I'm not sure if Koeman took over the staff at Soton as they have carried on as usual. If only Moyes and others since had been given the same terms who knows if Leics would be champs.

    That would be nice.

I'd prefer Brighton, my wife always bangs on about going for a weekend so I could watch United at the same time in the away trip.

I wonder if the financial penalty against the club's for failing to control their players is proportional - 3 counts should equate to at least £90k - I wonder ....... ? <doh>no conspiracies against Sunderland on this thread mind
