http://www.90min.com/posts/3170612-...ly-to-feature-for-liverpool-again?a_aid=35396 The Liverpool Echo report that Caulker being ignored by Jurgen Klopp has little to do with injury or fitness, and everything to do with the German simply not believing that the 24-year-old ex-Spurs defender is good enough to deserve a place in his team. Caulker hasn't made a single matchday squad since mid-February, and will likely return to QPR in the summer - where he still has two years remaining on his contract. Whether the Hoops will look to find him another loan destination is yet to be seen, but his failures at St Mary's and Anfield this season are hardly likely to interest potential suitors. Klopp has found himself shorn of one first-choice centre-back for the rest of the season, with Mamadou Sakho provisionally banned until the end of the domestic season after failing a drug test following a Europa League match.
Personally, I'd be interested to see a Hall / Caulker central pairing next season. Let Jimmy Fraud earn his corn.
Apple cider vinegar seems to be the latest snake oil. Good luck with this fellow. Buy enough of it and you could own your own franchise.
I think he might realise that he isn't as good as he thinks he is and get his head down and put in a season for us next year...
I should imagine Klopp will also have a clear out of the Liverpool scouting staff if Caulker was the best they could come up with for a short term CB back up.
If that happened he'd probably win the Champions League next season knowing our luck. How many ex R's are having a good season? Danny Simpson wins the Premier League, Barton get's promotion as well may Zamora. Delaney, Puncheon, Mutch and McCarthy could possibly win the FA Cup.
I spoke to a friend who is a Palace season ticket holder. He doesn't think that Mutch or McCarthy will make the grade there and will be moved on within a season. He speaks very highly of Damien Delaney echoing a post on here 18 months ago - that he's a very intelligent player who reads the game well. As for Joey Barton, I suspect QPR will be hugely betrayed by his upcoming autobiography. Like him or loath him, he was probably the difference between our performance last year and Aston Villa this season. A great leader for a Championship promotion seeking team. He's cut his niche in this role for the last six years. We should have sought to retain him; though he will always undermine those closest around him.
He would be more than able to do a good job for us in the Championship, but he cannot be on the ridiculous wages that Old Kneecap thought he would earn. (Not forgetting that he is a bad egg and loses it when on frequent piss-ups)
