At least we know his name.

That can't be said of the blokes Moyes had sat next to him.

Fair dos, although this does raise questions:

If he is essentially Klopp's twin and sees football in the exact same way, what does he add? He brings no plan B or an alternative perspective, doesn't act like Queiroz did to SAF, bringing great defensive tactics to support a strong attacking philosophy. Although that does help explain why Liverpool have been so inconsistent this season - no real second opinion if Klopp's gegenpressing doesn't work from the start.

As for Giggs, like I said he gives team talks, takes training and has been reported to work with many of the younger players. I think the only real issue comes from people who expect him to spend every game screaming at LVG to attack. But there's not much an assistant can do with a manager who is so set in their ways.

I seen him when Moyes been sacked .. 3 easy homes games . yet : 2 wins, 1 lose at home facing Sunderland and 1 draw .. 7 points out of 12.. ok may be team was not that motivated , but Giggs is so nice to be a manager, not a strong character that can inspire a team ..
i rather have Neville.. but even him lack experience and we seen it in Valencia
may be one day Giggs will be our manager, but sure he is not ready now, but most importantly he is too nice to be a manager ... can i see him given a hair dryer? doubt it
not every great player will be a good manager, look to Sir Alex, or Jose or AW or even Pochettino... being a manager has nothing to do with how good u were as a footballer .

You obviously have no knowledge of Giggs character, he was one of (if not the) most vocal people in Fergies dressing room. Never shy to call a player out who was not performing and got into many arguments because of it.
Nev has had some good experience at Valencia, yes they had a bit of a bounce with the new manager when he left but have gone back to the same as they were under him. You can only work with the players you have and, in Nevs case they were not good enough.

well i remember all his interviews, nothing that showed a character .. he was often Mr nice .. if am wrong remind me bcz i really can't remember. even when he was a captain, did he ever shouted on our players when they made a mistake or lost faith ? hardly remember that
regarding Nev, he has the character, and at least when he talk about tactics he make sense, but as i said, players are not born great managers, they need time to learn and make mistakes, sure we can't afford especially at this stage to be an educational experiment for our retired players, i prefer if Giggs and Nev go and have experience in other clubs then come back to us
there is one fact when it comes to being a great manager, your past footballer career mean nothing .. is totally different ball game which require off field skills

You can't possibly state he's a poor manager based on the end to the Moyes season. You just can't.

Truth is, we don't know. None of us do and we won't until he's actually managed, be that with United or somewhere else.

I've always thought Stacey Giggs was quite a fearsome looking woman.

How can you judge a manager on 4 games? You are a right tool with some of the stuff you post.

Are you proposing she should be our next manager?
