Not at all. I've got no reason to believe the story or disbelieve it. There might well be a meeting, what I'm questioning is that he's 'networking' during it.
Networking to me is talking to business people who may be able to benefit each other! ( usually on the golf course )
The club have had dozens of calls from intermediaries, claiming they can hook them up with buyers, I'm surprised they're still talking to anyone who isn't actually a potential buyer.

I don't mind messaging anyone that's been a member on here for a while, just so long as any names aren't dropped for obvious reasons. It's no way near to being a completed deal, but for me at this stage of the Allams tenure I'd take nearly anyone, so the glimmer of anything other than them is good news IMO Feel free to share the message I'm sending to BumCC, Happy and Chaz, just don't post it please. I'm interested to see if the guy sitting in on the meetings is the same guy I spoke to last year who said something similar (which I quickly dismissed as bollocks as he was a bit pissed in Lounge - if it turns out to be the same guy then maybe I'll get him a beer and say sorry for repeatedly saying "bollocks" and "don't talk ****" to him in a Ricky Gervais/Karl Pilkington way.)
