Tell you what, keep him <ok>

Play him in the reserves let his contract run down and let him leave for nothing instead. £700k is fair given he was only valued at 400k prior to going on loan. I doubt your Chairman will compromise though so hold out for that elusive £1m ;)

Yeah, but he scored a few while on loan to you and in the Prem for Blackpool,so he's worth a bit more imo. About 750k to 850k max.

Fair play mfc, but more likely if he does not get sold in this window, we'll loan him out, he'll do well (as he always does to start with) then we shall get NC's asking price. I see no other way, our chairman is always right, seriously.

We bought him for 450k. Since then he's scored goals at both Championship and Premier League level. I'd have to say £1m seems a fair valuation.

If you want him, pay up. He's a decent player when he wants to be, pace, good vision and control, his finishing needs working on though. He obviously won't get a chance after falling out with our management just because we played Chamberlain ahead of him.

Good luck to him wherever he goes. Don't understand the hatred toward him from some of our fans, he never said anything negative toward our club.

I reckon he'll be off to QPR

Depends, how many years left on his contract? I agree with the post that he will probably end up at QPR.

Not really bothered about Puncheon as long as we can get Townsend again from Spurs <ok>

Looks like West Brom want him badly, they bid £7 million plus extras but was rejected. They upped it to £10M.

QPR have apparently upped their bid to £650k. Don't believe Saints will really hold out for £1m. Get shot asap and use the money to buy someone without the bad attitude.

If you couldnt afford to buy Puncheon in January, you wouldnt be able to bouy him now. Millwall have no chance of buying Puncheon. He's valued at £1 million cash upfront, not that much money in football terms.

I don't think Cortese got Greedy. What has happened is that the player has proven that he can play in the Premier League; that makes his value a little more. Personally, I'd take 700k

Wrong, as we sold Morison for £2.8m I think we could quite easily afford to buy Puncheon him for £1m <ok>

we could/can afford him but i don't think kj or jb will be held to ransom for a player who is apparently in no one's plans & is excess to requirements to the point of only being with the reserves/junior team.
if he isn't wanted then get rid of but then southampton must like wasting money on a player who isn't going to play for them again...muppets
cortese is obviously a fool & i'm glad the ****er isn't at millwall

I don't think you quite comprehend market forces.

That's like saying I have a 2000 year old Ming vase in my lounge, but as it doesn't go with the decor and I don't want it in there, I'll flog it for £50.
