Yeah, fair enough Beef. I was thinking more regarding Poch actually - I didn't particularly mind him going on the field to pull those two (Willian and Rose?) apart. But yeah, you are right regarding the players. I'm still waiting for Dier to get his second yellow.

I was speaking with a Spurs fan this weekend who said he wasn't that upset about the thought of missing out on the title to Leicester ... it's not like it was ever in their hands. He is just really pleased to qualify for the Champions League, and most of all at the thought of finishing above Arsenal for the first time since the mid 90s. However, that's by no means certain - if Spurs drop points against us and Newcastle and Arsenal win their two they will overtake them. That would be a massive blow for Poch and his team.

Yeah that's pretty much bang on, it's been a superb season for us but we do need to finish it in 2nd now, dropping below Arsenal would really put a downer on what's been a really enjoyable campaign.

I'm hoping City beat Arsenal, if that happens then second is secured as we're currently three ahead with a far superior goal difference so providing they lose this weekend we can technically afford to lose against yourselves and the Toon, not that I'd like that of course but if we're hit with inevitable suspensions to Lamela and Dembele and the likes of Rose and Toby are out injured, it's going to be tough picking up the points we need as that's four key players out plus the already suspended Alli. There's talk that Dier may get hit with a ban as well even though he was booked in the game (hoping it's bollocks), if that happens and we have to field a midfield pairing of Carroll and Mason then quite frankly you guys will run riot on Sunday.

Have to agree with this. There are better ways of showing that you care and Spuds players just let themselves down by looking like a bunch of bad losers. These are men remember not 12 years olds (to be fair the 12 year olds would have probably acted better).

I think he started of with good intentions. But then let the Chelsea player wind him up and got involved a little to much.

Spuds lost a lot of friends (not that I was ever one of them!...<laugh>), last night with the way they behaved when things stopped going their way. I would hate to see us act like that in a similar situation, dear old Markus would turn in his grave.

I love how everyone just expects it of Chelsea! That speaks volumes!

I still like Spurs. I just dislike how they acted last night. What really needed to happen was Clattenburg sending a player off. He seemed to have forgotten his red card, it would have helped calm down a little.

I don't mind Spurs, I think they've played the best style of football this season and would like them to come second. Shame City's game wasn't before us next week as a city win would give Spurs 2nd and a less motivated side to face us.

We can't come below 8th though!

Now Chelsea need to do us a favour and beat Liverpool.

To be fair, there wasn't really a sending off offence until Dembele's eye gouge, which would have been impossible for him to see. He should have sent off Dier but that was near the end. It was just a case of different players being instigators for each flare up.

I think you are being too kind with that statement, They are very clever at what they do. I'm not trying to justify spurs behavior.

Walker or Rose could have been sent off before that. Some of the challenges could have easily been a straight red instead of a yellow.

Not for me. There were no straight red tackles in there IMO.
