If rolling around three times and waving your hand at a linesman is taking things into your own hands then football is even softer than we already knew. Whether Lamela knew what he was doing or not, I'm not sure. He seems to be looking elsewhere from the replay. Either way, the reaction was a bit embarrassing.
Bit of a disgraceful showing from Spurs, discipline wise. Lloris was the only member of their starting eleven who wasn't booked. Can see the PL hitting them with a "Failure to control their players" charge. And Dembele will also get hit with a charge for his eye rake on Costa.
You are so off the mark read your first post and then comment again, it seems you are a child, antics from Chelsea, put your team in that situation it would have been a war. Stupid boy Watford.
A war would have been preferable to one team kicking everything that moved and one team delaying the game for two minutes after every tackle.
I think our players were feeling aggrieved that Spurs were not being suitably punished for their transgressions, and rightly so. Though I think Fabregas' "Look at my arm, Boss!" epileptic fit was a little much, and that arm stomp DID look accidental I have to say. Everything else though? Spurs acted disgracefully and the occasion got the better of them, the PL will be charging them with something I feel. Their players couldn't handle the pressure, and having 9 players booked is pathetic, and its a miracle the match ended with 22 players on the pitch.
Maybe but I think he'll be disappointed if that's the case. Can't see us selling him when we'll struggle to attract players of his calibre without European football. Plus, is anyone going to pay the 60-70 million he'd have been worth a year ago? And why would we sell for much less when he's on a long term deal?
Yup. If he wants to leave then he should be sat down and told "Put in an actual shift next season, and if/when we get back in to the Champions League, we will accept the first offer for you over £50m". If we sell him this season, as you said, we will have trouble getting a like for like replacement, and also, on this seasons **** show, his value has dropped by at least £10-20m, for sure. We would be daft to sell this summer.
The worst foul in the entire match was Willian's forearm smash into Rose's face just inside the penalty area. Not getting a penalty and a red card for that was a real game changer and by your logic might justify the rest of Spurs' players actions.
