will the transfer be beamed live on the telly? is Warnock involved? or the Northolt stormtroopers? is there life on Mars?. We need to know
Washington runs at defenders with pace and scares them. Assuming he gets proper game time next season, I'm betting he will win 2 to 3 penalties and score a reasonable number of goals. Far, far FAR too early to write the lad off.
rangers till i die i wished i could believe you but dont forget everybody raved about polter who has scored a poultry 7 goals and the fact we have no strikers has caused us to miss the play offs
Threads like this certainly don't help, he needs a solid run of games in the team before he can be assessed fairly.
He's not the Anwser we need to bring in two strikers for next season to replace Charlie's goals , polter and Washington are bench players
The goals have certainly dried up for Polter. If you are playing two up front, there is a place for Polter. Polter + Washington though I'm not sure. We need another option, and a good one at that.
mouse ive just realised your one of the fantasy island pirates youve come to join me and factomondo in our greatest hour well look ive got 342 likes these guys love me and facto they are going to give us both prizes im getting a gold medalion that i can wear around my kneck its going to be made of solid milk chocolate, yes yes yes wow wow wow my cat said meow northolt stormtroopers are all around there as sound as a pound peace love all abound we are heading for division two for we havent got a clue we need two big black strikers to put the ball in the net if only we didnt get rid of jet
If anyone thinks we can be promoted next season with Polter & Washington as our main strikers ? We will need to buy over the summer.
Washington usually played with another striker at Peterborough and thrived because of it. He's certainly not a lone striker, he needs players around him. Even Austin struggled playing up top on his own (mostly in the prem admittedly)
Until they have a bad game and then all the usual suspects will call them a waste of money and call for another set of strikers/midfield players/manager. Delete as necessary.
You'd think JFH and LF would be able to identify a good striker between them. Polter is a lower league striker at best.
I haven't fully made up my mind on Washington yet. Any time I have seen him, I thought he is committed but holds on to the ball too long and loses it. He looks like a lower league player who has made his way up to the Championship but he believes himself that he is playing above his natural level. One goal could improve his confidence and lead him to score a few more. A trip to the Euros might also be a big help to his confidence, particularly if he gets a run out or two. He might come good yet but my initial thoughts on him are not too good. Hopefully, I am wrong.
Maybe there''s a good player there who will come good, but the biggest problem for me is he doesn't look like he fits in that well anywhere, the way we play. Not really sure why we bought him.
