Spoiled all I have done is make a comment about betting with a play on Fergy time. Then Banksy has proceeded to have a go at me followed by some mild banter. There has been no rudeness just me responding to his taunts Wizered, As regards Exeter United I did in the past (many moons ago) play for them but I don't see what my profile has got to do with this thread. It is clear however to me that in your eyes Banksy can do no wrong. That is sad so I must I suppose restrict myself to never ever responding to posts involving him. That I have to say is not moderation it is favouritism. Banksy is not the forum policeman but he might as well be. You seem never to respond to anyone else who has a row with Banksy and there are quite a few: I guess I am the one he likes the least . Others shut up and walk away, I don't as I don't take crap from anyone.

Now you are accusing me again of favouritism, lack of moderation and generally telling me how I respond to fellow members, I merely asked you a question about your self supplied information.

If you wish to put yourself forward to do a moderators role I invite you to do so, you can go to the supermods, as you have done before, inform them of my weaknesses and lack of principles, ask them to remove me and put yourself forward for the role, the members will then be asked to vote for you or not.

I will bare you no malice, do it.

Has it occurred to you that Wiz and many others have now seen through you, they know who you are and now you have decided to become my personal stalker, anyone with half a brain knows exactly what you intended to do with the 'Ferguson' comment, We've heard all your whinging before, you say you won't respond to my posts but you will respond to this one because you are incapable of not responding!

And your a terrible liar too..

Wiz and Banksy you do realise he says he supports Exeter Utd and not Exeter City? Exeter Utd are/ were a local amateur side based in Bristol

I did notice that but I didn't think that Exeter Utd would have that big of a fan base :emoticon-0136-giggl

On a lighter note and with the positivity and betting in mind, I might just toddle off up the road to my local bookies and see what odds they will give on city getting promoted next season - hope the odds are similar to those of Leicester winning the Prem at the start of this season!

Dear Wizered, I too bear you no malice. You have clearly stated in a previous post that you have total loyalty to Banksy as he was a founding member of the forum. I have said that is unfair as all members should be treated equally. On this thread there was a minor spat instigated by Banksy You have intervened as you are quite entitled to do and effectively told me that as my profile showed that I supported my boyhood team that I should not post on a Bristol City Forum. Now if you can explain to me how that a justifiable comment from a moderator then I will accept it. I honestly believe it is you simply jumping to the defence of Banksy simply because he wants you to choose sides. Banksy seems obsessed that I am his personal stalker. I am mot . He is man who constantly talks down to people and this is something I dispise as everyone should be entitled to an opinion without the threat of derision . I have no reason to want you to stand down as a maoderator, all I ask is that you be fair. If you not being fair then I will say so as I have in this instance.

I will repeat myself once, if you are not happy the way I do things I have advised you of the route to follow, you seem to enjoy argument, I have read you on facebook, I have experienced you on here and I think you appeared on OTIB, you are obviously an intelligent person so I won't insult you with innuendo, I am not going to engage you in argument or repeat old story lines.

Maybe if you are not happy dealing with me you should contact shiny or Tom, the choice is yours.

I have no argument with you personally but as you refuse to answer my reasonable question (simply read the thread again and ask if it was worth all the fuss) and essentially say "its do as I say or nothing" then we know how we stand. Incidentally I post in a personal capacity about once a year on Facebook and have never been on OTIB.

I think we'll be a good bet for top 6 judging by our record since Johnson took over, well that's what I think anyway <laugh>

Well back to the topic of the thread!!
I think it's a good post Redprintt and can't knock your comments...LT is definitely a special talent and just hope the persuasions from Lee and the board can convince him to sign on the dotted line..
Maybe you have a small hint that maybe Junior (LJ) is not looking to much out of his depth and could well become a better manager than he was player!!
So far (along side JP) he's fitting round pegs into round holes and will only learn as time goes on.....I also wonder under the circumstances, who would have done a better job?
First 12 games of next season for me will deter if LJ has what it takes to take us that next step further, of course we must allow now and again the odd mistake as at the end of the day, we all make them!
I've got this funny weird feeling that LJ will come good next season and City will be looking at a playoff place....i could be wrong, it has been known!!!

    Redprintt so sorry,

I agree, great post, but it does feel different to our last tenure in the second tier, lessons learnt perhaps from last time.

We have finished the last few games with a flourish and expectations to push on next season are growing.

The club seem serious in terms of who they are looking at, doing their homework, and from my perspective appear to be being diligent in monitoring developments, so let's hope it bears fruit.

The top few teams in this league have largely been a class apart this season, but with a few decent additions to the squad, we could be contenders next year.................

1For, I smiled when you said I might think he could be a better manager than player.
A worry with Junior, as for all managers, is the respect he will receive from the better players we need to recruit in the summer. In my experience in dressing rooms, football and cricket, the best players are full of confidence, try to dominate everything and have a real edge.
Waiting for all to say you can't generalise but that's how I feel.
And 1For, you will remember on the old 606 I said how useless Junior was but often added he had a footballing brain. Anyone could see that, I hope above anything he's also gifted with man and general management skills.
It's a tough ask and agree we need to give him breathing space.

For your information Exeter United played in Suburban League 2 in the 1980s when I was there before going to Uni. Also my age is 46 as when I last counted 2016-1970 was not 48. For some strange reason known only to Banksy he seems obsessed that someone who sometimes chooses to disagree with him is stalking him. I therefore suggest it is he who has a problem. You will note that nobody has chosen to either support my viewpoint or his which to me demonstrates a complete disinterest in the whole matter. It is however clear that Wizered aligns himself when Banksy chooses to "out me" and pursue me with vigour. I say to all moderators and members that I have been accused of disrespecting the forum and its members. I don't believe that I have in any way shape or form. All I have done is fallen foul of someone who genuinely believes he has privileged status on this board and that my friends is not healthy. I therefore now end this spat and look forward to a more civilised next season
