Fergie got very good performances out of some average players. Brucey gets average performances out of some very good players.
But he signed some right **** like Taibi, Djemba Djemba, Kleberson, Obertan etc Spunked almost 60m on Berbatov and Veron, and couldn't get anything like their value out of them. He had a naughty step- Keane and Stam. He's human after all.
He used to get some great performances out of average players. Remember beating Liverpool at home 3-1? Sagbo scared the **** out of Skirtl and Alex Bruce had Suarez in his pocket! When did it go from that to what we've got now?
He used to get great performances out of some **** players. Alex and Sagbo like you've rightly said, Jelavic, McShane, Quinn at first, Meyler sometimes, Simpson... Sadly even he couldn't do a thing about Proschwitz, whichever idiot signed him, I can't remember.
Conversely you sign players with a point to prove. Our lot now think they only have to turn up and they will win. They think they're doing us a favour playing for us.
This may put it to bed for some on here but not me ankle injury or no ankle injury Abel should have played. Got to get your line up gelling etc etc if not i demand to personally know why he isnt playing in a ferrnn call to me prior to the game. Bruce is just ridiculous. FFS I mean i know some on here said he took some heavy knocks against Leeds, Chazz been one of them, and he needed to be rested for the play offs. but still he should have played and its Bruce out for me. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...ce-Rotherham/story-29212911-detail/story.html ABEL Hernandez will be fit to lead Hull City's attack when Rotherham United visit the KCOM Stadium this weekend in a final rehearsal for the Championship play-offs. Hernandez has been nursing a minor ankle injury over the last week and was absent from both the 2-0 win over Brentford and the 1-0 loss at Bolton Wanderers. No chances were taken on the Uruguayan's fitness with more important challenges to come, but manager Steve Bruce fully expects to see Hernandez back to face Rotherham on Saturday. "It was just the knock he got a week ago," said Bruce. "He's had a bit of a sore ankle so we weren't taking any chances. "We've got to look after him because when we're without him we find it difficult to score. "He will play (against Rotherham). If we'd have needed him, he could have played but with the knock we just wanted to make sure he was 100 per cent. "We'll have to see how people are because it's going to be a big week getting ready for the play-offs." Follow us: @hulldailymail on Twitter | HullDailyMail on Facebook
Proschwitz is playing for Sint-Truidense V.V. now after being fired by his previous club for getting his unit out in public. Terrible signing but then at the time it looked questionable, a bit like Diomandes has so far. Bruce signed both of them
