Wenger says Arsenal's home form v lower table sides cost them the title. Apart from the loss to Swansea, what else explains the 12 point gap to Leicester?
PATO TO STAY AT CHELSEA Corinthians are expecting Alexandre Pato to remain at Chelsea next season. Sources at the Brazilian club have told Sky Sports News HQ that Antonio Conte is an admirer of the former AC Milan striker, who has made just two appearances for the Blues since arriving on loan in January. They are, however, uncertain at this stage if it will be another loan move. Is this some sort of Tax Avoidance Scheme or money laundering arrangement?
Considering how Pato's contract with Corinthians expires soon, how can there be any uncertainty about a loan move? Loaning a player implies they are under contract with another club, which is impossible if they are out of contract. The real question is whether being out of contract frees a player from the usual third party shenanigans that routinely make signing players from South American clubs a bloody headache for European clubs - and I have the suspicion that it doesn't.
Man U to give 300 million to Mourinho to buy the Premier League. With the wages they are paying their players etc, where's that 300 mil coming from/
Villa fans going mental at Watford - "We've scored a goal, we've scored a goal, We've scored a goal, etc." Those people on this board (mostly Mousers and Gooners) who think watching football is all about winning have missed the point. Badly missed it! Playing professionally may well be about winning. Watching is about fun. please log in to view this image
Newcastle win again. Possible they may be alive when we play them, better make sure we beat Chelsea and Southampton to secure 2nd.
Must say it's sad to see the Emirates half empty and those few who are there in a state of civil war over Wenger. I've given up hoping Newcastle will be eliminated by the last day and am now hoping they'll be safe.
I've always thought arsenal fans were pretty weird.Supporting that lot for one thing! However.Chances are they could finish 3rd,maybe 2nd if we don't remove our fingers pretty quick.....and they still ain't happy. if they like cups so much, tell 'em to go to Woolworths or somewhere. They can buy some pretty ones!
And fun comes from winning, i wouldnt expect you to understand of course, but im sure those villa fans are having a ball watching their team go down ya deluded old biddy ya
The atmosphere emirates is poisonous. It comes across as a play thing of plastics. It's like they only enjoy football if they win the league. They mock the EL as mickey mouse yet the fore runner of it is the only European trophy they have ever won. There are only 3 trophies to be won in English football yet they mock one cup as being worthless and seem to forget they have won the other for the past 2 seasons. Some of my favourite and most personal matches are ones we haven't won. There was the 4 all draw at the Emirates in 2008 when we 4-2 down in the 88th minute. There was the 3 all draw with Arsenal in 2011 and in 2007-08 season we drew 4 all with both Villa and Chelsea. The first game I ever took my daughter to was a boring nil nil with Norwich when Santini was our manager. Was at Martin Jols last match which we lost 2-1 and felt appalled at his treatment by the club but very proud to be part of the crowd that sang their support to him. The goons have been spoilt stupid and act like they are entitled to success. 2 weeks ago they had a bad 2nd half v palace, conceded a late equaliser and were out of the title race. On the final whistle all you could hear were boos and abuse aimed at Wenger. 5 days ago we had a bad 2nd half v wba, conceded a late equaliser and were out of the title race. On the final whistle all you could hear was spurs fans singing "we love you tottenham we do" That sums up the difference between the mentality of our fans and theirs. Protesting cos they ain't won the title in 12 years....
Just letting you know Klopp that we don't allow personal insults on the Spurs board, thanks for your co-operation.
