  7. Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris, 29, is set to commit himself to the club for the next five years. (Sunday Mirror)

This news will be deeply gutting for Pixie and Stan.

To be fair, I don't ready any of the red tops - never have done.

I get all of my tasty gossip summaries from the BBC.

Congratulations to Arsenal for achieving Top 4. If we didn't have a **** in charge at United we might have made it interesting.

A kind of "scratch the surface" approach to being a football fan?

  20. Despite recent protests from fans and disappointing results this term, Arsene Wenger will retain complete control of all player and football staff matters at Arsenal next season. (Telegraph)

I reckon the bank had a word with the AFC board and told it, in no uncertain terms, that Wenger stays put!

Bank: "Get rid of Wenger and we shut you down!"
Kronke: "But the fans want to see good football!"
Bank: "Fcuk the football! All we care about is the money. Understand?"
Kronke: "Things could turn real ugly, next season! We don't think the fans could take yet another season of mediocrity!"
Bank: "Fcuk the fans! They will do what they are told to do."
