Well done to the lad today, I thought he was excellent and looked really comfortable in the main. Only other positives for me today Jako, a really decent shot stopper, Elmo who I thought showed signs of the Elmo we know (putting himself in the shop window for the close season no doubt) and Hayden who seems to actually know where the opposition goal is when he gets the ball instead of looking for a back pass.
A very satisfactory debut for Lenihan. Probably needs a loan spell with regular football in first half of next season, preferably not less than league1/Scottish Championship.
Did v well, and as I said on mom thread I'm very surprised he's not started til today if that's what he's got to offer. Makes you wonder if Bruce has an inbuilt mistrust of youth, tymon should've played today, lenihan looks decent but only played once and harry struggles to regularly play too
Lenihan went to Blackpool last season and did well, shame he got injured but Lee Clark wanted him straight back when he got fit. It's a shame Jakupovic won't get another deal, he'd be decent cover for next season but I suppose with Kuciak here he isn't needed.
Elmo was great, whipped in a few quality crosses and got to the by-line well. If Akpom knew how to head the ball we'd have been up 2-0 at HT.
