    It's sad that people make such a fuss over cash compensation in cases like this. I think I can understand their anguish but what are they going to do with the money? Buy a new relative? I believe that no amount of money could replace a lost child/husband/ wife or what ever. Sure, in some cases a cash compensation could help with immediate expenses, but this was twenty odd years ago.

    There is an entire industry ( about the only one they have) in Liverpool tied to this. At least a dozen legal firms have their noses in the trough.... Three years for the inquests which have only given half the true picture was taking the piss. A couple of weeks could have wrapped it up and provide the same verdict. How much did it cost, who got the money?

    I kind of agree, was it justice for the 96 they wanted or money for the families? I just don't know I'd be able to enjoy the money through guilt if I'd got it on the back of my child dying, if it was me.
