same here w_y. Liverpool is the last one for me. Norwich, midweek when they are fighting and we have no fight will be one away game too many. Hey ho. Here's to next season. Hope we find some balls before the end of this one, otherwise we will fade and pick up where we left off next season, which doesn't bode well.

 

Pardew came to watch 2 of our games, Flores watches snippets of videos to decide 'tactics'! One manager sees the whole game, the players and the tactics, the other sees what he's shown. We all know that we can watch a game on the tv and see a completely different game to the one that people watching that game sees...so how can video snippets tell Flores anything!? It makes me angry that the preparation necessary didn't happen and that is the main reason that we were outplayed. Grrr!

I wouldn't say you were completely outplayed ,a big slice of luck played a part in our victory, with the loss of Etienne Capoue who knows what would have happened with him playing the 90?

Lovely of you to say so but I don't agree. The targeting of our full-backs was a key difference. You outfought us in terms of aerial challenges and read the second ball phenomenally better. Troy's goal was good, but I didn't see I us scoring at all in the game, and certainly not another after you retook the lead.
Good luck against Utd, if Pardew does his homework as well as he did againstus, who knows, eh?

 

Thanks for your thoughts , our flair players need to turn up and take their chances , Jason Puncheon 1 goal all season he'll be up for it being a home player as well.
We have a sniff but with Clattenberk it's as good as United's!
I just hope we can defend their pace and young upstart Rashford!

Unfortunately I did turn up again. I watched two poor teams provide dull entertainment compared to those in the other semi final.

 

Would have wanted Watford to win the final if you'd beaten us though, Boring for you we played some nice stuff and will have a sniff (hopefully)
We were the better team on the day last Sunday as were Everton v Manure but they never had their shooting boots on hence their defeat.

 

Tbh Kev, if you hadn't beaten us with the team we put out you would have been ashamed!
