Maguire - by a country mile. Robertson - some realy positive runs and a great outlet for Harry's crossfield balls. Jakupovic - yes, I know he had very little to do but he looked confident again and his distribution was impressive.

Maguire - Doesn't need explaining, he was really good tonight. Hayden - Few shaky moments but he looks decent. Jakupovic - Very vocal, looks like he cares. Great distribution too, I'd give him another year as a second/third choice. Hopefully the fashion of calling him **** has long gone.
Maguire Robertson Clucas Notable mentions to Hayden excellent in the middle good ball retention and a superb tackle in the second half, Odubajo tried hard against his old club and Jakupovic who distributed the ball from the back excellently, McGregor - take note - he made your distribution skills look Sunday league. Harry - Quite simply superb tonight. Probably one of the best centre half performances I have seen by a City player for a while. We have to keep him, he's prone to errors, but he is the right age to be building a team around Dawson and Davies are both in their twilight years. This kid has everything passing, reads the game well, can bring the ball out into attack, a simply exquisite range of passing and a goal threat. He's got the work ethic that get's fans on side. He's captain material for me. Robertson - brilliant attacking display shot that I think came back off the bar, if we don't go up we'll lose Robertson, which will be a crying shame in my opinion, his football deserves a better stage than the Championship. Clucas - I have been a staunch supporter of Clucas as he is an excellent player and for £1.3m he's been a bargain for 6 goals and 8 assists. They interviewed the London area BBC sports presenter and he described Clucas as one of the best footballers in the league - clearly a man who knows football.
